  1. English Computers?

Oh I don't think the Roast Beef was part of the joke. Roast Beef is the name of one of the cats, along with Ray Smuckles. The bear is Cornelius. There is also a foul-mouthed, coke-snorting squirrel named Todd. Among other characters.

  8. I had a set of "Charlie Brown's Encyclopedia" when I was a kid. My favorite volume was the one on space and space travel, and one of the facts given was that Laika was the first dog in space, shot up there by the Soviets. Being young and naieve I just assumed that Laika came back alive. I was later distressed to learn otherwise.

  10. A Must Read

Just finshed this book: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1580071104 This is one of the best books I've added to my collection in years. The author discusses the development of carrier-based jet fighters to 1962 with emphasis on the Navy's development and procurement process. It is this particular emphasis that makes the book unique. All fighter types from the FH-1 to the F4H are covered in good detail. A plus is that most of the photos in the book are ones that I had not seen before.
  11. Anyone know what the original specified fatigue life of the F-15 was? I'll wager all of them are tired.
  12. My latest completed build

Beautiful. No better subject matter, whether your model is real or virtual.
  13. I guess I should qualify my statement. A well run wiki is very to easy to use as long as the person using it is capable of developing a reasonably good search word or phrase and clicking on the appropriate button.
  14. I think those ratings reflect less on the games and more on the people that did the rating.
  15. If you have a reasonably high-performance system, WOI is the way to go. My second choice is WOE with the NATO Fighters packs.
  16. A well run Wiki is very easy to use.
  17. Does IPB allow adding search keywords to individual downloads?

Survey to determine what type of aicraft you would be: http://www.quizilla.com/users/wingaviator/...e%20Are%20You?/ Surprisingly, I am an F-22... "You are a F/A-22 RAPTOR. You are stealthy and daring. You probably pursue a career that involves challenges and special cases. You are sleak and a "player" if you will. You are a bit un-tamed, wild by nature, and you love being at your wildest around a group of people. You are loyal, understanding, and trustworthy. Your patience is a little low. You love adventure and risk, and the rewards that come from them. You are not always too worried about the downsides to risks, as the thrill of the adventure outweighs them. You are a warrior in life, taking things head on, and you could also be considered to be somewhat of a "hot-head" at times." I don't know how much of a warrior I am but the part about low patience is right...
  19. Fart proudly? (Ben Franklin referece...no harm intended) In all seriousness, I hope their private forum works for them and provides them with everything they want. Since it looks like people who enjoy their work can still register and get access, no fans are harmed in the process.
