Thanks overload... Im not trained in the fine arts, or digital art or any art form for that matter, I just doodle which is perfect for the subject matter I am talking about

I had recently put up a post in the WoV Camp. regarding an idea for an expansion, and I felt it would fit into WoV's game world rather well...but There hasn't been a lot of response (any..lol) so I'll post a link to the thread here and If any other Modder's out would like to try this for another Sim, that would be awesome. In any event here is the thread... http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=9027 And all the artwork in that thread is old so to show what might be done on a mod of this subject, here are some new drawings I whipped up in about an hour or so.... Small Versions in case previous were too large... I would love to help do Art, Story,Mission Ideas, Music or anything for a Area 88 based expansion. Hopefully there are some other fans out there too! Now we are totally getting into opions here somewhat :) My boss who is ex special forces and has participated in countless operations and engagements told me that after all his years at Red Flag/Green Flag the ballziest pilots were the West Germans and RAF,simply because for the most part they dont necessarily follow all the operational rules that the US follows. One time on a very very cloudy day Flight Ops were cancelled. He was with a crew of a few people in a ZSU-22 I think it was and they got radio comm, that there were 6 bogies at about 5000 ft, which was strange because they were at six... so they got out and about 6 RAF Tornados were about 10 ft off the ground pasing under power lines! He did say however if there ever was an Eject distress call it was most likley from the West Germans or the RAF. Interesting!

This is true.... Just like the F-117, F-16 and many others... The future of fighter design is in instability... If you read some of DARPA's projects for an advanced UCAV of fighter proprtions , with a lack of human pilot and placement of vernier (spelling?) thrusters it is highly unstable and can perform manuv. no human could withstand. Pretty cool if you ask me. The Zero-G hydralic suit should allow our pilots a little more leway with their bodies,

Any Screenies Yet? In episode 9 of Area 88 the TV, there is a Bucc in the dark blue/grey scheme with some great nose art, Id like to see that on a Bucc!

Both Angola AND Jet Thunder NEED to be released... I cant stand FS2004 but have to have just so I can look at some of my favourite planes (lets not talk about how they fly) Lock On and BVR is just not my cup of Tea. These two conflicts were the last of theyre kind. Both these sims also very soon will open up to another market as the Remake of the old Animated series Area 88 gets released in America, people will be popping on flight sim to send out some old aircraft to dogfight. We can only hope.Look at how many times the A-10 was going to be axed...but nothing really did the job better and the F-16s we just too fragile.Now the only thing that scares me is we all know the Tomcat is a great plabe with great features but when they axed it man did they axe it. You can already see F-18s with Jolly Rodgers markings. I only hope at least a few BAE Sea Harriers stay with the RN.

Yes I thought that part was beautiful...it was like two planes in a street fight, a dangerous dance..... I will miss the Sea Harrier.... I know its not the bad boy anymore but there is something about the original that I like so much more over the McDonnell Douglass Versions.... I cant put my finger on it but they are just more aestheticly pleasing to me.

I had some family in the RN during that time, but still it ios interesting that these planes are still flying.Those Sea Harriers that participated prob arent anymore! These pics were from a Chile excercise in 2004

Actually I was looking for some harrier dogfight footage and I came across a recent post from F-16.net which had a gentelman from Kirtland AFB here in New MExico who was at the excersie and the Mirage's still have the Ship Sinking kill marks on them! Ill post the pics in a few minutes....strange thing is ive met the pilot before at my work!

No prob, I have the Graphic Novel en route to me right now, and I have all the new TV series, and If anyone would like to make a campaign (and change some stuff around for copyright purposes of course) Let me know. Im also decent with a pencil and paper so if anybody wants anything drawn for it, I could help. In the meantime someone jump on these skins! LOL

First off, great edit! Your Dover Cliffs edit was incredible! My grandad (ex-RAF) about cried when he saw it. I was curious if you had done any E.E. Lightning Edits? The other question I had was I think I read at sometime that you were in the process of a write up for your editing techniques... How is that going? Again, great work and thanks for your time!
