Yes I can see that it doesn't have quite correctly modeled Aldis sights, but I don't mind that. However it's historically inaccurate because Aldis sights were standard issue to all SE5's.

I've never seen a photo of an armed SE5 without an aldis sight.

Why doesn't the SE5a have an aldis sight? Or at least the viper se5.

Do I need to download all three of the files or just the most recent one?

lol funny thing I just had my windows live account compromised yesterday, someone took my XBL account and used it's payment info to buy MS points on their own console LOL!

Can you link me to the file I need for the Damage model mod, I think I saw quite a few different DM mods.

And does you flight model mod affect more than just a couple planes? The ones I saw said they only affected a couple of planes I don't fly, I think it was the pup, sop tripe and one other.

I downloaded flak mod, elephant's mod(whatever it is I forget) and the realistic tracers smoke effect mod. I get my game today WOO WOO!

I found it Polovski, looking sweet. Can't wait for P3 to get here so I can try it out, then the wait begins for P4!

I'm looking through the downloads section for OFF, it's so awesome to have modifcations for a game. That's the worst damn part about ROF is a bunch of the issues could be fixed by users if 777 would allow modding.

Anyone have suggestions on which mods to use with P3?

This is how I play Rise of flight so it'll be how I play OFF.

Can you disable the small radar, hit messages and all of the hud? I was playing around with CFS3 last night and couldn't figure out how.

I've had a number of accounts compromised, including my hotmail, Ebay and Paypal accounts.

Change your password and your security questions and make sure your backup email if you have one hasn't been changed. Are you sure you didn't try to login or input your hotmail info into an unsecure website? It seems really rare that you'd actually get 'hacked'.

In my case my ebay and hotmail accounts were stolen by a chinese fellow who then proceeded to change my hotmail options to chinese language he didn't change the password, but once I found out it had been compromised I couldn't do much about it until I found the option to change my language back to english lol, he also tried selling a bunch of fake watches on my ebay but support was able to cancel all of those and save me some trouble. All is well, this thing happens, all you can do is change your info and move on dude.

Redpiano, based on the few bits and pieces of your system you've already listed I will hazard a guess that you'll be able to push OFF just as far as your heart desires. And welcome to the madhouse Sir, always nice to have another lunatic to join in the fun. BTW, if it hasn't already been mentioned, new lads buy the drinks, so a nice black-n-tan for me my good man!

I have a P7P55D-E LX, no idea if it has EFI BIOS.

I was looking at some screenshots and reading some threads. Seems like this game could maybe be a real power hog? I have a core i5 2.8ghz, 4gb of ram and a GTX 480, do you think I'll be able to max the game out and still run at a solid 60 fps?

Oh, well I'm fine with that so I'll just get the CD one.

What's different about installing OFF between the CD and DVD version?

I didn't think there was a DVD version I have mine from back when it came out and it's a CD(of course I lost it, think I may have thrown it away recently)

I'm going to need to buy a new copy of cfs3, I can't find my disc even though it's installed on my PC still.

The discount for buying P3 is already built in now as we lowered the price recently ;).

 

As per the website front page posted a little while back:

"We appreciate some people may be waiting for Phase 4

(which is still some time off ) but to allow those people to experience "OFF" now, rather than offer a future upgrade discount we have decided instead to lower the price of both BH&H AND HITR expansion too now - enjoy!"

 

It's very cheap to own OFF with lots of flyable aircraft included including 2 seaters.

 

 

We are poor developers so no there is no further discounts ! :)

 

1.Yes in P3 and much more so in OFF2 :)

 

2. Yes very likely proved the costs are reasonable for us, we make little as it is.

 

3. Already great in P3 but P4/OFF2 hugely improved :). Many people in the OFF team worked on some of the finest Red Baron mods the and have many ideas so OFF2 will be even better.

 

4.Well we have had great comments from real pilots over the years -some who flew in biplanes too. We also feel we have a good realistic balance between craft and they fit historically with each other, with the balance of power singing as new craft become available to fit in well with their WW1 historical place.

 

5.The scenery Winder has made is some of (if not "the") finest around even compared to many modern sims. It's massively improved over the old CFS3 type. Look at some of the pics on the website. (It's much better in OFF2 too, even improved more since the last screenshots we released :)).

Never played Red baron, but I'm quite looking forward to OFF. I'm going to go ahead and order P3 next week, I didn't realize the game was so far out still.

The damage model in ROF is far superior to what I've seen in videos of P3, but the P4 video said there'll be a new damage model so I'm not worried about that.

How big of a discount do you get if you buy P3? If it's going to be that long to release I might as well get the current release.
