You forgot to assign a texture or material. Assign any texture, even just a gray square. An aircraft without a texture or material is displayed in the LOD viewer but invisible in the game. I think the problem in materials and textures -

As to me, i reccomend you to get friendship with one of modders and join their team. Usualy team consist from 3 guys to 10000 :) (Joke!) Who is active teamleader you can see who uploads their aircrafts last time that means he is an active teamlerader. But that doesn't mean you can't work alone. You can completely do everything yourself, from the aircraft model to its camouflage scheme and avionics. You say that you are a game developer, so you must understand that in a nutshell it is impossible to explain how to make an entire plane. Talk to people, read the forum.. -

The Geme looks in data ini and if doesnt see it in data ini uses default values from AIRCRAFTAIDATA.INI Default values are not always suitable for a particular aircraft. And moreover, in Date ini of Tu-22 by TW the values are not correct. They need to be corrected. -

Making the plane use up all its fuel is not an easy task in this game. For me, the most frustrating thing about AI is when the plane starts flying in circles. Circle after circle without fireing in case it have AG guided weapon. Or guided bombs. I made a trick for myself using JSGME.exe program which make AG guided weapon unguided but with some features which I looked at Guuruu's inis. Another disappointing moment is when your escort sticks to any Shilka and loaded with a dozen AA missiles all commit suicide against this Shilka trying to kill it, at a time when you are attacked by bandits. Appeal to reason using TAB menu or call help in this situation is completely useless. Knowing these issue, sometimes I want to laugh and arrange funny fights using the mission editor. There is also such a issue of the game that when you choose the CAS mission, the enemy aircraft, no matter what AA missiles it is armed with, will attack ground targets until it uses up all its weapons. And only after that he will pay attention to you. I sometimes fly nearby and watch the enemy attack. I dont hink air present in game at all. As its in X-Plane. When you write FM you write the data exectly in wing or slat or what you werite. Its not depends of environment at all. As i think. I play these mods. They all are extract and play. I am not familiar with instaling and modding EAW. I dont know what other gamers want, i just say about myself. And sure default EAW is the bess ever among these types of games
