So apparently they are saying now that he was a right-wing Christian extremist. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-07-24/suspect-admits-responsibility/2807758 I thought they only lived in the Bible belt in the US, I would never have picked Norway. According to the article, he felt compelled to do this as a defence against 'Marxism and Islamic colonisation' and posted some youtube clips about this. And apparently the Norwegian armed forces are still looking for explosive as he'd reportedly bought 6 tonnes of artificial fertiliser a few weeks ago. What an A-hole...

Yeah, it's two attacks, bombing in the capital and a shooting spee at a youth camp. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-07-23/norway-hit-by-twin-attacks/2807138 Apparently the f*cker was dressed as a cop before he started shooting at the youth camp. One of the current theories is that the shooter's a far right nutjob. And I thought they it was reported that one gunman was in custody.

B-17F WIP
SayethWhaaaa replied to Veltro2k's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - World War II Forum
This is a bit off topic, but what's the story with the props showing both the hi-speed animation and the low-speed animation simultaneously? I've getting that problem with most of my helos at the moment and it's bugging the hell out of me... BTW, really liking what you've come up with Veltro. Looking great so far! -

Aircraft Carriers question
SayethWhaaaa replied to frtyphoon's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Have a look at the two articles in here: http://combatace.com/forum/190-adding-carriers-to-campaigns/ You can't add Carriers to the single/randomly generated missions, only to the campaigns themselves. Give it a go, it's not particularly difficult. -
BAe Hunter FGA.9C
SayethWhaaaa replied to Spinners's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Sci-Fi/Anime/What If Forum
I always felt that the Hunter could have had another pair of hardpoints. This is exactly what I would have done with it too. Love your work as always Spinners! -
Seriously, what the hell is wrong with that country that this was even considered in the first place?! Jesus UK, get it together, it's just embarrassing to watch this now...

Yeah, I always felt a little weird saying to an old co-worker of mine at the end of the day "Hey, you up for some WOP later?" Our manager's ears used to prick up like she was going to hit us with some sensitivity training... They need a better acronym. :S

SR-71 and XB-70?
SayethWhaaaa replied to target92's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
All of their mods should work for every game in the series. I'm pretty sure TK standardised them all with the last round of patches. -
SR-71 and XB-70?
SayethWhaaaa replied to target92's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Normally, all you have to do is have a look in the Download section. All the aircraft are divided by era (WWII, Cold War, Modern etc) and by country (or in the US's case, by service). You won't be able to get the SR-71 from here AFAIK, but you can find it here: http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ However, you have to become a member of that site in order to download their wares. Doesn't take long though. -

...so you could probably say good riddance to that trashy tabloid, especially after the extent of their phone hacking had been revealed. But I do fear that the persons responsible, sorry either complicit or impotent management in charge at the time will be avoiding prosecution, which kinda sucks a bit. Here's a link:

Wasn't that the second one? I thought Buran was left out exposed to the elements and was thought to be in a state of disrepair? Either way, it's a real shame that wasn't kept running too. It was larger and the Energia rocket could carry a larger payload. In conjunction with the NASA shuttles, it might have kept costs down, even though costs of the Space Program were relatively light to others.

Secret Chinese Army Plans to Get to Taiwan
SayethWhaaaa replied to daddyairplanes's topic in The Pub
I'm no military planner, but I think I could shave about 2600kms off that journey! lol! -
They did. They're turning it into an MMO: I'm thinking it'd probably be a better bet to skip Cliffs of Dover and go for World of Planes instead. That's prolly just me though.

Yeah, apparently this was one of the most popular kits back in the 80s along with the F-19.
