We got stuck into the poor American girl in one of my lectures last week about the 'proper' pronunciation of aluminium (Alu-mini-um, not Aloom-inum, bloody savages!) and why it was that Seppos make the H silent on words like how 'herbs' become 'erbs' and so on and it was all quite funny until the cute Canadian girl got involved, then it was on like Donkey Kong between them. What is it with you guys (Yanks) and Canadians?? Was there some secret Vietnam that happened between your two nations that you've somehow managed to keep secret?? Oh, #5, priceless! I'm so sick of English (US) defaulting itself randomly even after I've changed it to civiliSed English in my MS Office. Seriously? Who uses the Z button outside of spelling Zebra and other words beginning with Z?

There are 2. One at the A-Team Skunkworks(you have to be a member there though). Or there's the one at the Owl Workshop here:. I think the Owl Workshop version has multiple skins. I haven't checked out the A-Team yet.

The conjectural pics that are being spread over the web right now resemble the assault helo in Frontlines Fuel of War.. pretty closely too. Hey, what's the story with that defence tech site? It it only viewable for North Americans? I've never seemed to be able to get access to it here in Oz. Always comes up with an error screen.

Very first song of theirs I heard as a kid was Oh Bondage, Up Yours. Still blows me away. Poly Styrene will be missed.

I think the Super Tucano and about 4 different versions of the T-28 are available at the A-team site. Personally? I'd like to see stuff I've had the time to make look good and work well in game. Unfortunately, having only got my grubbies on a copy of 3DSM last year, I just haven't had the time to make more than a simple box. :( But then again, some of these would be nice. I want to see what the aerial troop insertions look like. That's something I'd like to mod into my existing games...

Is it just me or does this game just suck hard? It had a slick marketing campaign, but that's about all I've found impressive so far. Even the game it was derived from, Frontlines: Fuel of War seems more impressive despite some truly awful acting. I dunno. Maybe I'm just being picky, but COD4 and GRAW 2 set the standard for me and very little has come close since IMO.

Oh yeah! Can't wait to play this!
