  2. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Now Now Mr. Dave sir, don't get pissy wid me. I was only taking the piss! I thought the F-16s sans weapons was funny because my girly said "Hang on, they're only packing sidewinders, not bombs!" When she said that, I'd never wanted to marry that woman more...
  3. Screw the IDF, I reckon this bird would look sweet in JASDF or RoKAF colours! Even Singapore!
  4. File Name: ISAF Su-35 Splinter Camo File Submitter: Say What?! File Submitted: 26 Jun 2009 File Category: Flanker Skins This is a bit of a knock off of the ISAF Su-37 default forest/splinter camo from Ace Combat 4. It's a bit rough but I've been busy of late, so gimme a break! As always, comments and constructive criticisms are welcome. Big thanks to the Erwin Hans and the InSkye team for releasing the Su-35 Beta. ***Note*** This is for the Su-35 Flanker E, not their very nice Su-35BM. Click here to download this file
  5. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Not from Michael Bay anyways... What I took away from it: -Meagan Fox kicks arse! -Isabelle whatshername (the blonde Aussie chick with no personality) plays crazy stalker woman a little too well for comfort. -Michael Bay loves his panning, spinning shots. Don't sit near the screen or you'll get queasy! -Michael Bay digs finding new and more innovative ways of getting Meagan Fox's boobs to jiggle... (Count the number of slo-mo jiggly scenes! I swear it's like 15... I'm not complaining, but sooner or later he's gotta answer some difficult questions from his wife...) I gotta go with Erwin a little too. I was a little disappointed that only the US and UK were represented in the NEST team. There were tonnes of nationalities in the comics and cartoon series. But it's not like it was a big part of the story. I gotta say two thing bugged me about the film. The MASSIVE amount of ancient ruins destroyed and the Blackbird with the stupid, stereotyped British accent. Also, look for the drone that takes off and appears latter without it's pusher prop and the F-16s that head into combat without live ordinance... Yeah, I know, I'm a trainspotter. PS, did it disturb anyone else that evil blonde Decepticon chick's tongue appeared from her butt initially??? Freaked me out...
  6. Scooters look fantastic, no matter whose colours they fly in...
  7. F-22J?

Japan's made no secret that they want to buy the F-22 and that they believe it will fulfill their future requirements more than any other aircraft currently on the market. Although it's been stated by several sources that Japan is examining the F/A-18E/F and the Rafale, they've stated that anything less than the F-22 would most probably not meet their future AF criteria and there have been a couple of Japanese agencies that stated that the Eurofighter Typhoon won't be considered as the Japanese government doesn't have faith in having to deal 4 countries and the associated bureaucracy. Only problem this stance is that they've been denied every time by the US State Department(?) as exports on the aircraft and it's systems are banned and currently enshrined by law. Currently, there is no JASDF F-22, but if LM develops an export version with non-classified systems or one sufficiently capable but not too similar to the USAF, or if the US overturns the export ban, we may see one in JASDF colours real soon. Maybe Israeli colours too. They're very keen, just not about the $200+ price tag. For that matter, not too many people are...
  8. Michael Jackson... Dead

I'm going to go with "Don't stop til you get enough". I love the disco influence in it.
  9. Michael Jackson... Dead

My girly sent me a txt after she left for work and I think I said those exact same words...

  12. Happy Fathers Day all.....

No kidding. I always thought it was roughly around the same time of year in most places... It's in September here. I saw your post and panicked a bit because I didn't grab anything for my pops!! lol

  15. COD6: Modern Warfare 2 Out this Year

You know, that's it exactly! I know it sounds like I'm incredibly late to the party, but that's what's killed the EA-Battlefield experience for me and that phrase sums it up exactly. I enjoyed Battlefield 42 because it was all encompassing (Air/Sea/Land) and because of the AI/bot and co-op support, not to mention the wealth of Mods for it. Desert Combat and (in deference to you Widowmaker ) BF 1914 kept my interest in it long past the used by date. BF2 was much more selective in its scope and, IMO, was much less satisfying. What happened to high sea destroyer duels or trying to board an enemy team's destroyer whilst trying to avoid getting your squad shot to hell?? Now, the Call of Duty series had that beautifully crisp feel to it. I fired a gun and I felt like I have fired a gun. The SP experience was much more intense and the customization of weapons and kits has kept me in it for a long time. Now if the maps were larger and less run and gun, I think you'd have a great combination of the two!
  16. Newbie

AFAIK, it can only be found in the Desert Storm mod. Pick it up, it's pretty good TC.
  17. hi..so who misses me lol x

    Haha! Gold!
  18. Need some thoughts on this...

Say you guys, wherever you live, had a politician who was once a leader of one of the two major parties in your country (assuming your country had 2 main parties), who turned into a bit of an arsehole after losing the leadership of said party and became known as being a bit 'caustic' and then came out and said this about your contry's defence force (or whatever)... http://www.news.com.au/story/0,27574,25620471-421,00.html ...how would you take it?? I'm curious.
  19. Need some thoughts on this...

LOL, no, that's the new one!
  20. Need some thoughts on this...

Nah, it's not that I think. You'd have a better chance of finding a 'Socialist' type in our Democrats (RIP ) or Greens or one of the fringe parties. Thing is, Labour has a history of spending (sometimes big spending) on the ADF... except for bloody Bob Hawke in the 80s who decided to sell off our last remaining carrier and not invest in a new one!!! HMS Invincible was on the table too!!! :threaten: The Liberals here (conservative party) had a tendency to spend big on obsolete equipment, bad tenders or screw the military in other ways... I'm just curious because we're not really a militarised society (not when compared to somewhere like the US or UK), and by that, I mean, there's more of a detachment between civilian and military lives... I dunno. But yeah, I don't think I could imagine anyone getting away with that in another country... They'd prolly get nine shades of poo kicked out of them.
  21. I got offered a job by the RAAF

If you want, I could always ask my DFR next time I talk to her, but Army will possibly have different standards or evaluation...
  22. I got offered a job by the RAAF

Well... My bestie had this same issue. She has a mild nut allergy, still can't come into contact with them, but won't go into anaphalactic shock if she does (just gets severely irritated). She recently got past the final round of interviews and was pretty much cleared to enter until she got a call about 4 weeks ago saying that she couldn't be admitted to the RAAF at all due to this allergy. Now she was told initially (after her medical) that so long as she has a management program it shouldn't be an issue, so I don't know why she wasn't accepted. She may have had a conflicting medical condition that it may have interfered with (although I'm pretty sure she didn't), so I'm afraind don't know. I thought it was odd that she was cleared and then denied. If I were your bud, I'd talk to Defence Force Recruitment about it or preferably go to an open night at any near by unit and talk to them personally. They usually hold info nights on Tuesday nights (they do for the Army), but the unit recruiter should know about it as it's their job to know. Calling the national line (131902) will only get you to the DFR call center and they won't necessarily have the info on hand. Thing is, I know of a dude who serves in the 9th CSSB, RAA in SA who seems to have developed a nut allergy and is still serving. So go figure.
