  1. Will we also be able carry the conventional load of 16x 1000 in the bombay or is this purely the nuclear version?
  2. A while ago a made a crude, although reasonably effective SOD from a Harpoon ASM fitted with CBU style warhead. The concept worked in princible but it could easily be made better. Once fault in particular was that the would directly impact the target and then spray the area with the submunitions. I don't recall, but is there an entry somewhere in the CBU data that allows for the submunitions to be released at a certain height or distance from the target? And if so, can this then be applied to a missile type platform? I'm reasonably certain it can but since I don't have the weap editors nor a weaps pack at my work station, I can't find out.
  3. Cheers AJ (hehe, those are my initials ). Yeah, it's working a little more effectively now. I've upped the damage ever so slightly, increadsed the bomblet spread and decreased the missile/dispenser speed only because I figure bomblets being fired from a dispenser travelling at Mach 3+ is going to spread them over an area the size of New Zealand... but then again, it's just NZ, what are the Hobbits going to do? jk
  4. Semper Fi Marine!, but not in their town........

Hey, there's nothing wrong with mind altering drugs! I personally love going to raves and having random cute girlies in skimpy outfits hugging me and then being spun out by my furry red pants! But then again, I never saw this in San Fran... All I got was Me: "Hey buddy, how much does this book cost?" Bookstore guy: "Dave's not here mannn...." So lemme get this straight. The Iowa was denied a dock in San Fran, despite being a decomissioned BB? How is berthing an old BB an act of "war mongoring?? I'm afraid I'm buggered if I can figure that one out. That's a bit of a stretch...
  5. Semper Fi Marine!, but not in their town........

Here here! There's protesting, then there's protesting like a douchebag. I mean I'm not a fan of the war in Iraq, but I'm not going to treat the guys I know who've served, performed like champions in an unforgiving environment, put themselves in harms way, like sh*t because I'm not cool with the situation. That's incredibly petty and passive aggressive! I'm surprised the SF Chamber of Commerce didn't kick her arse up and down Lombard St for stifling the cash cow that is Fleet Week! Pissing of the services is not a great career move! I've only been to SF twice but I had a ball in the city, and the people I met were good fun (they even took me on the Harry Callahan tour of SF!) but this is a sh*tty thing to do!
  6. I'm positive I had a G.I. Joe that looked like this! The story I remember (and it's vague) had to do with the US continuing to foster the Mid-East Peace Plan back in 2004 and had something to do with the high casualties from Israeli retaliatory strikes or something along those lines. I don't want to get into the politics between Israel and it's neighbours but was a sanction from the US. I don't know, it might have been at a delicate time in the MEPP negotiations or something. There was definitely an article in Air Forces Monthly about it. Does anyone know about this?
  7. I thought you guys got the boot from the JSF program??
  8. :stink:   You guys wanna overthrow Bohemia with a Roux d'état?? :haha:
  9. Worst Modeling Experience

I had a beautifully detailed F-16A that I made myself when I was 10 (1990) and had been painted by my Dad who'd just bought himself an airbrush and was going nuts airbrushing all my old stuff. He'd painstakingly added the decals, hand painted the interior of the pit, it was immacculate. I took it to school on the proviso that I take extra special care of it (which I did). I had it sitting next to my pencil case on my desk and it never left my sight but other kids in my class kept wanting to put their grubby little mits on it so I got my best friend to keep it with his stuff (he sat next to me) while I went out to the toilet. We were doing show and tell in class at the time and I was just walking back into the class just in time to see my buddy finish his presentation of big rig magazines, walk back to his desk and dump them (weighing about 2 kgs) absent mindedly on his desk and right on top of my Viper... So I went and tackled him. And somehow I got in trouble!! I didn't tell Dad because I was too scared to (not that he'd get angry or anything). But still, being a kid, I didn't want to front up about it.
  10. You shouldn't need one dude. The campaigns, the Vietnam map and all of the aircraft used will be available in WOE. Just load the game and if you go into the campaign, you'll see that it has the European and Vietnamese campaigns. Likewise with the map, if you go into single mission, you should be able to fly both the Germany and Vietnam maps. Well, that's if it's a combined install. If it doesn't work, try re-installing with WOV first, then WOE. See how that goes.
  11. Very purdy! Although, isn't there supposed to be a IRST bubble above the nose, or is that another variant I'm thinking of?
  12. Iran's latest....

It's ever so slightly larger too... like if the F-5 let itself go a bit and grew some love handles.
  13. Iran's latest....

What do you guys make of this...? I know at least one of you is going to think this is sacreligious  To be honest... although I've heard of IRIAF F-16 rumors before, something's a little dodgy here and I can't put my finger on it...
  14. Iran's latest....

Some snaps of the Sa'eqeh for your rivet counting pleasure...
  15. Iran's latest....

Well... it does/will have an indigenous PGM capability, glass cockpit, FBW and locally developed Avionics systems and uses composites in it's construction extensively... just going by the information I've been given. But bear in mind that a good portion of this project was to establish if they could produce a modern(ish) aircraft of indigeonus(ish) design using modern design and construction methods and in that respect, the Sa'eqeh and Azarakhsh projects have succeeded. I'm keen to see the results from the IAMI Shafaq program: Especially if this model is eventually produced...
  16. India are champions of the cricket world

Ifram Pathan MoM too! Great game!
  17. All but FE, not into flying boxkites...
  18. Kofff !Koff!

Bloody Hell that's low! You Brazilians are crazy! (in the good way )
  19. The hook has to be modeled, but you can add the appropriate data into the data.ini. Are you going for just a skin on this one or the variant itself? Speaking of which, is zis going to be the original K or the modernised, pimped out K? Good work so far! I'm making one too but you beat me to the punch you bugger!
  20. So this is how the RNZAF got rid of their Skyhawks... I could definitely go for that Su-27 but imagine your kids faces when they arrive to school in the back of a Hind...
  21. Classic.....Just Classic....

Oi! That little brat flipping off has been photoshopped! He used to be a Manchester United Fan... either way, there's not much difference.
  22. Birds of a feather....

Hehe, I knew the F-22 was a turkey! Lets see who tries to kick me a new a**hole for saying that
  23. Birds of a feather....

It was really a lagre, p*ssed of turkey...?!
  24. FNG reporting in for duty

Yep, it's only midday for me, think it's naptime for everyone else...
  25. You're absolutely right. Instead of making more "what if" Flanker skins, I'm going back to making skins for my F-19 and my F/A-37
