My most enjoyable mission happened way back in Phase 1, I was flying a Third Party Mission in a Short Torpedo Bomber Which is so slow and unmanuverable it's mind boggleing. Against a German Cruiser In real life 10 or 16 Fighters went in Strafeing the deck, while the Shorts attacked. This time it was just me against him. I flew it 4 times, and 4 times I was blown out of the sky, no guessing . . . .the screen just went Red then Black The Fifth time a 20 minute mission took almost 2 hours, when I emerged from a fog bank, I was 500 yards out, 3 feet above the wave tops, the at anchor cruiser fired repeatedly at me, but she couldn't depress her front turret far enough to hit me. I never planned it that way, but I'll take it At that point I realized his butt was mine As I closed on his position, he was attempting to make steam, and lift that anchor. But to NO avail . . . A Bow Shot is a thing of beauty. . when it works . . and it did When the flames cleared, there was but an oil slick . . .Very Satisfying But it's like playing chess against your computer, if it worked once . . it Never Will Again I tried that mission many times, and everytime I cleared the Fog Bank, the Cruiser wasn't there. Phase II did not feature the Zepplin, as it was originally intended to be Payware, and it's owner didn't want to be part of a payware operation. By Phase III only London survived, so I ask what of Phase IV, or do I need to wait for the release to ask again ?

As far as I know you're screwed, luckly the purchase price has been reduced to 10 Bucks. I think they allow you 3 downloads, but there must be a time limit ? I could very easily be wrong about this, if the 10 Bucks is giving you fits, wait for a Developer to respond I know if I just suffered a HD Failure, the 10 spot would be a minor problem, but that's just me

An awful lot depends on what Stick you're using, the Microsoft Sidewinder II is a great stick, but the rudder response is pitiful. It was never made with WW1 aircraft in mind. ( Great with Pedals ) Moving the rudder on WWII birds was minimal, and Jets even less By the same token, use of Autorudder can make everything handle like a cinder block with wings The Saitek EVO Power Cyborg is close to pedals ( unfortunately no longer available ) Seems like there no way to know before hand . . . . .if you're not using Pedals . . . it's a crapshoot I've heard of good results with some fairly inexpensive sticks The Thrustmaster 1600 for one

As far as I'm concerned, the only reason to fly the Phase 2 mission is a Guaranteed Elevated Contact Activity It ain't needed in Phase 3. . . You can elevate the Level of Contact by Enlisting a Pilot in the Spring of 1918 . . You'll then wish your father never met your mother. . . 12 on 12 are fairly commonplace. . , and your opposite numbers are rather good at killing So you enlist six pilots in 1916, six more in May, 1918, and six with the first name QC ( Test Pilots ) NOTE: While most pilot's attitudes won't allow it.. . . I advise playing ( Pilot can never die) None will ever know but you . . But you MUST Follow some simple rules .. anytime your stay in the hospital exceeds 24 days. . . You SELF RETIRE that pilot . . EXAMPLE: Go down in a ball of flames from 8000, You know he died, I know he died, but according to the manager he lived after 27 Days in the Hospital But it has some good points, you get a hole in your gas tank, are forced to land far behind enemy lines, you're going to spend the rest of war as a POW. . ( But with Pilot Never Dies ) You'll always escape to fly again Sooo you can play that way, and last for a long time. OR cheat and last forever PS . . the missions in Phase 3 work. The only problem is sometimes you'll be killed without firing a shot. The reason is YOU are appearing in the mission at 60mph . . But you're accelorating. Your Chums behind you are at 110mph BINGO you are going to die eveytime Soo the instant you appear DIVE for a second . . No Problem

I get occasionally in OFF, and rather often in FSX . . . . .Just clic center or F12 . . . .mine is no longer F12, as it resides on my joystick. . one of the lower buttons . . it arms my secondary weapon in OFF .. . turns off my landing lights in FSX . . and centers my trackir

In my opinion the only usefulness for USER is if your youngins want to do their homework with DAD's computer, without messing it up. And nobody would spend a kings ransome on a new magic box, and fail in the protection area. I have never left Administrator, and rely on my Internet Protection Suite to do it's thing. Granted there are no Crumb Crunchers here, but that's the way it is, and is likely to remain When you opened the box, it was in Administrator. Why Change if you don't have to ? You Definately need to be signed on as Administrator for Trackir to function, for as long as you run OFF PS . . . Let CFS3 find it's own path, it's old enough, and after it's installed . .OFF only requires the 3.1 patch, but installing 3.1a Doesn't hurt, especially because some of the other clones demand it
