  1. Tequila Class submarine sighting

Navy formation: same sky, same day. Army spearhead attack: Call in the Buffs. USMC flight check: Can the pilot find the pointy end? I could go on forever...... There is a reason the Eagle FLIES over the US Go Air Force, nuke 'em 'till they glow then call in the Marines for night cleanup.
  2. Who have You Met In Person?

I have met everyone on this forum and I am better for the effort. Thanks to all.
  3. My KLu adventure

A pilot spends his life correcting back to center. Good old axiom to remember: The closer to the dirt you fly the more precise you become. I, for one, am really envious of your start into the flying world. Best of luck to you and fly safe.
  4. Official Backup Day

Completed backup and my External (backup) HD died! Drop-kicked it out the door and bought a stack of DVDs. Doing backups to re-writable DVDs now.
  5. Roundel: which is your favorite?

I kinda like the current British low-vis roundel. A faded dark blue outer circle and a pink center circle.
  6. One of mine too. RIP, Don. Sweet looking stripes...................hooooooorah!
  7. Veltro2k, you da man. Really looking forward to flying all of these. Those who would complain from one screen shot need to do so after a better analysis or, as I assume would be accepted better, from a specific reference. I, for one, think they all are great!
  8. Actually, bare skin aluminum. Paint adds weight, in most cases, lots of weight. Preferance at the time was for payload vs paint.
  9. Changing of the Guard

I guess I am a Johnny-come-lately on these forums and did not get on the C5 forums. I also don't see some of the slime tossed around on these forums by undiciplined members, but I credit that to our watchful administrators (they've caught me out too) . I have received exactly what I came for when I signed up, expanded knowledge of TKs sims, and a useful exchange of information. Credit goes, once again, to our moderators and administrators. C5 forums must have been fun, but I have thoroughly gained from these forums as well.
  10. One day left

To make the cast complete, 'Sam Adams' for me I cry to the beer wench of the house (always spurs her to do great things for her Lord and Master). Highly recommend Brama (Brazil) as well. Goes great with seafood.
  11. Happy birthday!

Maurizio, my friend, a very happy birthday.
  12. General Curtiss LeMay just rolled over in his grave. Sweet!
  13. Yet another checkride...

    Congrats FC. Well done!
  14. phylosophing about why hate eMO.....

I can't join in here guys. People in this condition really need help. Of all people, these may need the peace that passeth all human understanding the most.
  15. May have to give a little here. My recommendation is to download and jump into the Super Hornet. What a jet!
  16. Has anyone done a skin for John McCain's Scooter? Not sure what flavor or what unit, but it would be nice to ride along with him up North. I have asked this on another thread, but it got lost in the shuffle. Any help out there?
  17. You're right, it was inappropriate. Forgot I put it in there. Mindcramp.
  18. Happy Birthday Misty Fac

Many happy returns, Misty FAC! Welcome home!
  19. Let's see.....we're talking about John McCain's missions in the A-4. I requested some help on the topic and got some good responses from the membership, and I thought it would be appropriate to thank them. Bye the way, I did fly a mission or two in John's scooter and it was just as much fun as I thought it would be. If all of that is off - topic, I can live with it.
  20. Got a new job today...

    Ditto
  21. In times past, I downloaded the T-37 / A-37 add-on aircraft from CA, but I cannot find it now. Is it in rehab?
  22. Many thanks for the responses. I have YAP, but I bought all of them at once and haven't flown all the missions. Think I'll walk a soft mile in John-boy's shoes tonite up North. If I don't do so well, I won't have to pay as dearly, but I might get an idea of what it was like for him. Let's keep it on topic please.
