WOFF without Ankor's Shaders
Polovski replied to JohnLewis141997's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
Some things to try.. Leave the shaders on and try lowering other settings in workshop under the Graphics Details. Aircraft shadow detail, Terrain Shadow detail, Cloud shadow scale and density. Also reduce your settings on your GPU control panel for antialiasing etc. Set your forests to Low perhaps, lower airfield complexity. -
OK this fix and others is now released as V1.05

Looking slick :) -
Hi, Correct the number keys on the top of the keyboard are already defined from 10% to 100% throttle (1 = 10% 0 - %100). +/- also increases and decreases the throttle. If your throttle is acting weird then very likely you have another joystick or other controller that has also an axis assigned to throttle. Check for any other controllers showing up in the WOFFkeys program and remove any axis they should not use. Please see the BH&H II FAQ it has tips on this (see support page on the website).

CTD after Exit Mission command
Polovski replied to WangoTango's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
I looked over the files and replied WT. Indeed if you have campaign videos enabled it could be a problem if WMP isn't there. In the email also mentioned setting woff and cfs3 apps compatibility settings to "run this program as an administrator" which may help. -
Many of Sandbaggers are in there now.

CTD after Exit Mission command
Polovski replied to WangoTango's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
Who knows hard to say. Maybe gather all the logs and files as per last 2 pages of the BH&H II FAQ and send to support. It's not an issue, like many a program in Windows, for a few people, sometimes it may crash. We'd need more info. -
Yeah we have new code there in V1.05 (not yet released) that will should fix the take off for some aircraft that are having problem.

Ok thanks guys we'll look into it.

Autopilot and Lower/Raise Lewis Gun Interaction
Polovski replied to mandrews_2's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
Agreed it's not really relevant, so I don't think it needs explaining really. Just take it from me that the sim is designed so you either fly and fight yourself, or let the AI do it. Yes you can shoot, in AI control, but you don't normally want to, that would be rather an arcade video game. It's not intentional that you can use the guns, just happens to be so. We handle the new stuff like lewis reloads as we coded it specially. Shooting was always in there already. -
Autopilot and Lower/Raise Lewis Gun Interaction
Polovski replied to mandrews_2's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
This is correct, either fly and control the aircraft or don't ;) In autopilot you do not fire the guns, so unjamming isn't normally needed as AI are good at avoiding jams. But just because it works - just ignore it? -
Mouse view now comparatively slow/ lacking previous fluidity
Polovski replied to redwolf's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
Thanks BB, yeah could be Anti Aliasing, or something like that, Maybe worth looking at all things, pre rendered frames, vsync etc If you have an Nvidia profile make sure it's for cfs3.exe not WOFF.exe. -
WOFF BH&H II - Install Notes
Polovski replied to Polovski's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
We don't recommend messing with files if you are not OK with editing config files. However yes technically it's possible. Backup the old WOFFKeys.xca with your controllers already setup, to another place on your hard drive. Uninstall PE using WOFFToolbox properly as above (and in the FAQ). Install BH&H II and the latest patch. Now make another backup this time of the new BH&H II WOFFKeys.xca and make sure you know which is which. Put those backups somewhere safe. Now open the old WOFFKeys.xca in Notepad or similar. Select and copy all the sections BELOW the first key assignments section. The key assignment starts right at the top with <Mappings> <Device Type="Keyboard"> <GameMode Name="Player"> and ends with the first line that says; </GameMode> So AFTER THAT copy all the text below. This is the controllers sections. Now edit the BH&H II WOFFKeys.xca and delete the lower sections after the first <\GameMode> Carefully paste the controllers sections. Compare to the original it should look very similar. Save as .xca (not *.txt) to do that if saving in Notepad set the file type to save as *.* first. WOFFKeys.xca is stored in C:\Users\<YOUR LOGON>\AppData\Roaming\OBD_Games\OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields Note at your own risk, if you break something we can't help and you will likely need to reinstall after doing a clean uninstall. -
Before installing BH&H II, please uninstall any current WOFF installation you may have. To do this use WOFFToolbox program - found in C:\OBDSoftware\WOFF\Toolbox\ folder (or find your Toolbox folder if you installed elsewhere from default). So run WOFFToolbox then select the 'Uninstall WOFF' option. After it finishes, close the program.

Mouse view now comparatively slow/ lacking previous fluidity
Polovski replied to redwolf's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
There's no change in mouse look code or Trackir at all for BH&H II (in fact for a long time) something else must be going on. Different GPU settings applied etc? -
Correct thanks Adger topic name changed.

OK done Robert, Some rules for posting here I think, Keep it polite. We have no promises on anything here at all, it's purely a wish-list (nice to have, things you'd like to see one day perhaps) like the one on Simhq. No venting. No bugs or errors posted here please - no "please fix this" type posts.
