Ah yeah must be something in the background, as I say numpad just works no configuring. Only snaps instantly back after 0.5 of a sec when head tracking is active. Otherwise pans around nicely with snap (scroll lock ON) or keeps moving (scroll lock OFF) - always been like that So either head tracking stuff (I have Oculus no issues but it's not "on"), some other controller somehow forcing it forward (key pressing, PoV always on and pressing forward that kind of thing). Maybe try mouselook?

Seems OK, I thought you meant it showed a POV for every binding rather than every device has a pov listed. On the left I notice a lot of buttons are "down" what are they doing mostly? Are any of them "on" pressing etc?
-
Doesn't sound like it, do you have a screenshot?
-
ah such is war...

Ultimately you may need to do a clean uninstall and reinstall to see using WOFFToolbox option. (backup .xca). from email; for me it behaves as you describe when something else is overriding the view (Trackir here). Maybe your POV hat is sticking the front view on constantly something like that has to be.. --
-
C Maybe backup your WOFFkeys.xca file, then experiment resetting all to default in WOFF keys program. Check no other odd bindings on your joystick, remove any axis not in use, and toe brakes etc anything not used. (.xca is in C:\Users\<YOURNAME>\AppData\Roaming\OBD_Games\OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields No headtracking?

OK I will reply only in here now rather than both in support email and here.. Is this a laptop? Do not use the eyepoint commands as they are normally to physically reposition or move the eyepoint in a semi-permanent mode. i.e to shift your cockpit eye point position, not used to look around. Numpad is for that or POV normally. If numpad does not work, something else must be interfering with the keys or numpad (other key program or joystick mapping?) or it's possible you have overwritten something in the config. Numpad works normally out of the box, it is a default, and just normally always works. BTW if you have head tracking. It will not work of course, it will briefly move, as the head tracking will override! For that put your tracking clip/hat down or disable the head tracking.

Using what number keys? if you use 4 or 6 on the numpad (with Numlock ON) AND Scrollock OFF it will rotate the view constantly in the direction you press. Pretty much all the way around to the rear. If you are in GUNSIGHT view (F6 toggle) then all bets are off. Can you confirm that? Not sure what rotate eyeball is? TrackIR is the best way to look around.

If I change waypoints, will A flight follow?
Polovski replied to epower's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
I believe it will only change your flight. -
.. and the Caudron he deliberately left the nice bomb window view I made, to still be on display ;)

Great thanks for posting those Trooper117

Scroll lock on ?

Thanks trotski100 yeah I guess it would be OK if the wings were awarded like a medal and showed up like that. I think the bombsite mod should still work but I am not sure if anyone tested it yet.

Yes guys as we said already we do have plans to make more aircraft for WOFF. Now we have an all round sim we can concentrate again on even more (!) content. We'd love to do those mentioned and a few others I personally would like to see (now there's a good chunk of our lives gone assigned to doing all that already ;) ) We did have a Bristol M.I but it was never actually used at the front. The Fokker D.8 is in there as the Fokker E.V. (which was renamed because of fatal accidents due to wing failures). The D8 versions were very late getting to the front - late October 1918 so not many were used before the end - but as I say you can fly the earlier version anyway which was pretty much the same (apart from improved workmanship!).
-
Glad it's sorted anyway trotski00 Of course as I already said we can add more - it just takes TIME. Yes we have already intended to add the few aircraft that are not yet available in the squads. Don't forget WE added the information in the squad to show you that a particular aircraft is not available. We added the manager code to read the squads and display messages ;) so we know. One day all being well with enough support to keep us going maybe it will be even bigger than the 10 million items in there. Most sims do not have even a fraction of the detailed WW1 content as it is. We have been doing this a long time, and we know what aircraft are not in there, we want to add more for BH&H II. We do not have a visual "pilot" avatar so nowhere to pin wings on. Do you mean you want to see a screen with a picture of wings ? Or message a "Congrats you have be awarded your wings!" Just because it's essential to you doesn't mean it's essential to everyone of course.

Question about bombing with fighters
Polovski replied to epower's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
TAC , give them a target (well they will choose others of the type you choose) try that. FAQ goes over using TAC. -
Bridges will do that or several close together objects perhaps. It is normal if that's the problem. Change to 'activity' labels perhaps.
-
That’s an odd one, Windows 10 is odd with hardware could be the previous sim has somehow got exclusive access and not given it up. Likewise if I go to sound options in Windows and just look, it breaks Discord sound even in the middle of call. Maybe there's a tool available to unlock/reset hardware not looked actually.

Problem with reloading the Lewis machine gun magazine
Polovski replied to Buffin's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
Good to hear Buffin. -
OK I just completed training here - finally got assigned to RNAS 4 a Sopwith Strutter A2 - 2 seater squadron, and we have observers fine. So perhaps it's just particular squadron (s) with a problem or something else. So as I say we'd need much more info, which squadron/ date etc and the files (to support email address, do not post here) when you can get there. No promises of course on if, or when, it could be fixed if there is indeed a problem.
-
Sorry I do not understand why can you not create another pilot trotski - with same name, same squadron just pretend he's the same person and the training is done (as it was) and pilot is now at that squadron? If you can send your pilots that didn't work, squad name and date, and files from \LOGS folder please and we can hopefully look to see what the problem is. Last 2 pages of the FAQ tell you how to find send the files to us thanks. https://www.overflandersfields.com/index_html_files/FAQ_WOFF_BH&HII.pdf Sure with enough support we can try to add more and more to WOFF, just everything takes time.
-
Trotski, can you send your pilots, and logs, to support email address please. Also which squads you joined. After that, for now just skip training and use Direct Deployment to Front (No training) to create a pilot - or just create a new pilot manually (Manual Squad Deployment button bottom right) and chose a date, squad, etc.

Hi Everyone, Welcome to this new layout - thanks to Erik. We hope to be posting more here soon regarding WOFF BH&H2 (and WOTR in the WOTR forum).

Welcome Vox- your posting works :)

Problem with reloading the Lewis machine gun magazine
Polovski replied to Buffin's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
It's usually if the original WOFF was not removed properly, the old WOFFKeys.xca is there without the new key assignments to use the new Lewis reload feature. See section 65 of the BH&H II FAQ https://www.overflandersfields.com/index_html_files/FAQ_WOFF_BH&HII.pdf
