The variable incidence tailplane...
Polovski replied to TROOPER117's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
You can adjust the trims but the wheel is not animated for that Trooper. I believe End and Pg down are the elev trim. -
d3d8 ini file adjustments...
Polovski replied to TROOPER117's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
Indeed d3d8.ini WOFFScenery\shaders for that Trooper117, it overwrites the one in the main root every time. -
Wotr installed fine. But black screen when loading
Polovski replied to Watts's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
Hi Watts, is this a laptop? If so you need to disable splash screen. Other than that check the FAQ section 37 for example. See support page on the wotr website. -
Observation: Logged landing aerodrome
Polovski replied to busdriver's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
Basically it's because there are airfields close together so the AI in sim can detect more than one to land at and does not always return the correct one. It is what it is at the moment. -
You can open the bomb bay and see them.. shift+B

Thanks Gaw for the comments, always good to have a new challenge ;)

Observation: Going Home logic loop
Polovski replied to busdriver's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
Yeah lol, I guess people may still take it the wrong way no matter what it says. Just bear in mind it means the aim of the aircraft is... So when damaged all bets are off anyway, that goes for all activity labels. -
Observation: Going Home logic loop
Polovski replied to busdriver's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
Just confirmed with WM (coder), Going home indicates they are basically running - usually because of damage to their aircraft. He said that was tested already in beta and when that was seen they showed damage (we use development labels). We may change the label though we shall see. -
BH&H II Crash to Debrief screen
Polovski replied to Foobat's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
Thanks Foobat, we will take look. -
Observation: Going Home logic loop
Polovski replied to busdriver's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
AI Going Home is fairly generic, that's what he may be aiming to do, but if the aircraft has damage affecting control he may be struggling to do that. On the fact it showed he was alive after a crash, he may have survived or he may be an historic pilot/ace so will always survive until the correct day. -
Observation: Logged landing aerodrome
Polovski replied to busdriver's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
Probably the other field is very near, sometimes AI will land at that base instead. I don't see the airfield label there which was it? -
WOFF BH&H II - Install Notes
Polovski replied to Polovski's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion
Exit WOFFToolbox, and then yes you can delete the OBDSoftware folder and its contents. -
BH&H II Crash to Debrief screen
Polovski replied to Foobat's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
Hi Foobat, Please send the files to the support email address. Find the files in the \WOFF\Logs folder, and send the other detaisl reqquested as per the last 2 pages of the WOFF BH&H II FAQ (found on the support page). (do NOT post them here please). Please don't run the sim until you have sent those (make sure you exit WOFF Manager before grabbing the files). Thanks. -
Obviously other things may have changed in that time in the system, Windows updates and so on but yes probably best to leave it on the left Stache.

BH&H II Briefing screen peculiarities
Polovski replied to Foobat's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
The ammo count is %. Yes ticked means you have them. -
game unable to correctly assign inputs
Polovski replied to Puffman's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
To be fair the software normally works simply and well, many people have set up fine using it. If the hardware is reported as the same name in Windows, that would likely be part of the problem at least -the BU0386X cards with identical names. As Stache says, it may need something like Joystickgremlin to define them as separate controllers. Stache can you proved more details on how you set it up using joystick gremlin? -
Mouse view now comparatively slow/ lacking previous fluidity
Polovski replied to redwolf's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
Thanks redwolf. I can't think of anything particularly that could affect that - maybe something else has since been changed or updated on the system that is interfering. Try to look through any recent programs or other changes (possibly a windows update recently that may be doing that. -
We have not changed that part of the code Stache so if you used PE use the same setting.

Lewis Gun reload tosses drums overboard
Polovski replied to epower's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
Reload you press once like most other functions. The lower and raise are continuous because you are physically interacting with those and it takes effort (something we are trying to represent). -
game unable to correctly assign inputs
Polovski replied to Puffman's topic in WOFF/WOTR - FAQ/Technical Issues
Only just found this post Puffman it's less than 24 hours since you posted it to be fair. Your setup is quite different from most of course but the standard Axis for Rudder is the R axis. Do you have controller software to allow you to change axis outputs? -
I think I emailed you in support. Sent it to both of the emails you use (one used in your email, and one in order). Just a heads-up, do NOT post order numbers in the forum they are private! If you still don't get the email send an alternative address to support (using a different ISP please)

Before posting tech support issues Please read through the WOFF BH&H II FAQ. Just an observation: Time advance and casualties
Polovski replied to busdriver's topic in WOFF BH&H2 - General Discussion

Hi elephant The servers have sent the file out many times with no issues so likely a problem with your ISP or something along the route disconnecting you. Try the alternative download location (Press CTRl+F5 when in the download link window). See how that goes. Also don't leave the PC unattended, maybe every half hour or so use a different instance browser to open a different web site or something, perhaps something thinks your PC is inactive after a while.
