That's in RoF though of course? Probably wrong forum for that!

As Typhoon says, it includes ALL PREVIOUS patches. Also in the history of changes; http://www.overflandersfields.com/Downloads/History%20of%20Changes.txt ***** NOTE: Latest update patch always INCLUDES all previous improvements, changes, and fixes **** If it was not, new customers would have rather a problem to update ?

You can choose "air start" for missions even in campaign to cut out the take off and making your way to the mission point.

Sorry Hauksbee by the way we moved the post to technical section but lost it completely by mistake on SimHQ. One day maybe meant "maybe in the future once upon a time..." not it will take one day.

LOL Lou that's fantastic many thanks ;) Would look good on the website somewhere ! -
Thanks for those who support us. One thing, if you wait until later in 2014 to buy there may not be a sim to buy by then! We are very small team and need all the funds to carry on working on WOFF and pay the bills -one thing we will not be, from spending 4 years on this with little $ in the meantime, is rich. Serious flight sims in general are a very small niche market these days. So even though it's the similar price to BF4.. they sell a few MILLION copies more ;) For most people who will get many many hours of enjoyment there is so much to see in WOFF and so much detail and features added over 4 years. So we really believe with all that in mind the $ amount is easily worth it.
-
Great UK_W :) No you don't need to unsinstall P3.
-
Thanks Javito, exactly. We are not going to sell anywhere near those numbers of those types of products - WW1 is a very niche group (or flight sims in general) these days, and the dev work /return ratio is extremely poor so not surprising. We need your support to carry on guys.
-
Thanks guys, WOFF took a lot longer than planned. but also has more features in there than planned so we think it's very worth it, for the years of sweat and tears, and your years of enjoyment hopefully!

All of them I think ;)

:) will do, a strange trip indeed what's left of the team:

OvS is mostly busy last 2 or so years working hard in his main jobs Fireman etc, so not much WOFF. I am sure he will be along at some point to say hi. For the record WM started the original phase 1 of OFF many moons ago originally with David "Davo" Payne and then I think Rob "Capt Winters" Stevenson, and Paul "Nod" Norris. Then I joined a few months after the start. I suggested to WM etc, if OvS could join us and help as I knew him and his work from "SWWISA" Red Baron modding group. He has worked on mainly Fokker DVII skins and some Albs this time and squadron emblems. I can't remember if Shredward also joined at that time but likely.

Simply cannot get this game to run under Windows 7......
Polovski replied to igor711's topic in WOFF UE/PE - General Discussion
If CFS3 runs then quits, it could be that you have settings too high, or haven't configure them properly. perhaps something is overheating quickly. It will use your CPU and memory a lot. Try running workshop graphics config, set up sliders in CFS3config to defaults, then set up as per FAQ to 2,2,2,2,2 etc File, Exit http://www.overflandersfields.com/FAQ#Installation_and_settings Under CONFIGURING OFF: Also maybe your AntiAliasing and Other filtering settings in NVIDIA or ATI panel are too high. If it continues check your CPU cooler fan or cooling system is working properly and fitted correctly. -
WINGS Over Flanders Fields - Development Progress

Hi All, After a very very long slog through various stages of WOFF development, we are pleased to announce we have finally entered an internal Beta test stage. Things are moving on well :) -
From the FAQ ; "Make sure you update "Game Updates" in the TrackIR main menu and restart TrackIR." Also see the FAQ for more; http://www.overflandersfields.com/FAQ#TrackIR If still in doubt also ask at the TrackIR forums. Www.naturalpoint.com

The AI take off fine, tested at length along with 3000 other things to check across the board. I have the twitch still from testing. If you mod them then sure things will go wrong in various places that we spent months testing If a newer revised mod makes those things less of a problem than the previous mod then great, but best to be clear what is causing it. The landing is handled totally by CFS3 AI code in BH&H (i.e Phase 3) and I guess cannot handle WW1 craft too well over treelined fields (CFS3 WW2 had no trees around airfields and I don't think it was amazing anyway). In WOFF this is completely and utterly different, better, amazing :)

Thanks guys, no problem Lou I wasn't referring to the calendar we saw that earlier and laughed too. Just thought it was worth mentioning some of the crud we have been through that have not helped the situation, but we are still going. None of us are immune to the bad stuff.

We wanted to be able to release months back indeed, but I guess one downside of a small team is that some family deaths, and a few serious illnesses to team members does tend to cause delay in a software release. Anyway onwards ...

Wow..er thanks guys. Yep everyone has an opinion. Well as we said at the time we had NO IDEA what was going on, 6 days it turned out to be sure, we didn't put up a finger - we couldn't contact anyone at the time. But after 2 or 3 days ... with no info we were very worried. No messages and the whole combatace domain was down so no replies to our emails. WOFF is not vapourware but yes our very small team is working hard to get it done improving all aspects and adding features not seen anywhere before. As we said before, we moved, not because WOFF was "a week away" but if the whole site was down and no info for days which again it could coincide with a release, or important update whatever. It so happened that we had just released a new movie to show WOFF at the time the site went down too which gave us more to think about. We said several times were very grateful for CA's support and MK2's and Erik's, and no it wasn't planned or whatever super secret plot specialists think. We are happy for people to post anywhere they like no one of forcing anything. MK2 CA owner at the time understood after the 6 days or whatever it was; "MK2: sorry Sorry about all the craziness, I just posted this in the thread: Hey guys big apologies from CA, Combat Ace will be back up and running. The outage is purely technical and we are working to get it back to the exact place it was before . The individual who is our technical heart and soul has been out of the country with very little access to the web. This has impacted the recovery time. That being said SimHQ is a wonderful place to land . Being a long time member here I speak from experience when I say that. As far as the files, I do not anticipate anything being wrong with them and they should be up and running the moment we solve all these issues. I wish I had an exact time frame but I do not . I also do not anticipate taking much longer." Edited by MK2 (May 20, 2012 17:18) ">Originally Posted By: Polovski >Thanks MK2 as I said in PM we hoped it was nothing permanent and it is great you can be back running soon. We wanted to thank you for your kindness and support over the years. You guys are the best and we look forward to hosting your mod files in the future and as I said before SimHQ is an awesome place. Glad you guys are OK and up and running. Edited by MK2 (May 20, 2012 17:53)" We are too small a team to manage a forum fully or politics, and so for WOFF we will likely have no official forum, and handle announcements via our website, and support via our existing support channels.

We'll actually we have NOT talked about a large amount of what is in WOFF, deliberately, so actually we are not "teasing" like that. Several times people have asked for another movie or screenshots so we obliged. We cannot show all things yet and don't want to until it's almost ready anyway. No one who delves into OFF deeply can deny the value for money - maybe there is too much in there. Yes its taken a far longer than we planned, not just because we are adding things that are needed but also we have to test and fix etc. We are a very small team, any time/date we gave would have long passed and we'd have a lot more criticism or worked 24 hours a day to meet a deadline we invented (no publisher is demanding a rushed release date -several titles including sims have failed in the past due to this). Large software development / publishing companies can usually just add a lot more resources to meet a deadline, we cannot. We know people are waiting patiently but believe us its killing us much more - probably quite literally. Developing flight sims takes a lot of detailed patient work for little return unfortunately - hence why hardly anyone makes them anymore. -

Thanks Olham we want to release more than anyone -it must be as good as we want it to be though. At least as time goes on we add more as we go so ultimately you guys should benefit. -

Thanks guys for the patience, and for the kind words Hellshade which are pretty much how we are feeling. Yes we are head down working hard at the moment, nearing our goal but it's like an extended birth that's rather overdue (or rather what I imaging that is like(!) or maybe like that whilst also having your teeth pulled!). It's looking good but still needs a few things finishing as things come together it all looks better and better so all for the good! -
Thanks Tamper - for the "in-cloud" effect you can disable it in cfs3config settings - not as immersive maybe but then you don't get that edge which also can spoil immersion.
