Wow glad you made it safe James - I'm sure a few of us have been stuck in a storm crawling along wondering if we'll ever make it, and no it's not fun. Worse part was not being able to call home to say anything, but now you are all OK you can chill! Well maybe not much chill now the snow is no longe a problem ;) -

Not all craft in the field have all options or even the same equipment. Also just because we model something one way doesn't mean the next one along is an "upgrade" very often it really wasn't . See the N11 N16 example above, or try the D.H.5 Sometimes sights were removed if they actually made the view worse for example or pilots found they cracked their head on them in a crash etc. Some craft in OFF have field mods, or rare parts whatever as it is deemed fun/useful/interesting whatever,or to stop the modeller from dying of boredom ;) The stats may be wrong, why not fly them all and test - after all what counts is what it does when you fly it ;) ? Given wings, and tail parts and all sorts are swapped, also don't forget one craft that is meant to be exactly the same as another often would have differing performance in climb rate or speed on the field down to manufacturing, engine performance differences, setup etc .. Once you try to explore WWI it's a can-of-worms I tell you ;) -

Reported Esc issues are fixed in the 1.46 update released.

As a note Olham is right, any video driver update causes CFS3 to barf at start up and ask you to run CFSconfig. -

There's probably nothing wrong with your download file. It's an error in the unlimitedpilot file as above. You did apply the new patch? There's a known issue with Esc Laf see known issues thread. Install patch. Try deleting all pilots first. If you still have problems email support with your order number and problem OS etc and we'll try to help. Support email is at bottom of FAQ page. -
Guys it's being looked at what more can we say ? I know you expect instant fixes but I guess that's our fault for releasing patches quickly. I'd just like to say we busted a gut to get this patch out soon (and being a software user of course I know how long you wait with other products out there). We could have waited and not released this patch, to see if the fuel could also be fixed, but wait for how long? (Christmas holiday period starting) Wait another 2 weeks, or 2 months, or 6 months until that is fixed assuming it's possible to fix!? On a personal note if I found a setting that makes my a/c behave much better, I won't use it as not as it should be. We have improved the performance of the craft a lot along the way they are now much more responsive and lighter in feel generally than they used to be. FMs are made with 100% fuel in mind, not with 30%. I understand how some want to have a more manoeuvrable craft but if I find a magic setting, I'm going to feel I'm "winning the war" with my uber craft. AI may have less disadvantages but remember they do have one major disadvantage in that they are not human ;). If using less fuel makes an a/c that much more manoeuvrable maybe it shouldn't be there anyway.

That will be because it's not fixed. Hence not in the release notes, and in the known issues as being looked at. -

No it's not going to be merged it's not so simple unfortunately. We are very likely not making any major changes to AI now until P4. -
Built in to the manager if you mean the main screen in the Manager. Not user changeable.

Hi DukeIronHand, the download page explains all you need to know about it. Maybe just fly it a few seconds more first and see lol! it's random a little, obviously 1915 wont see much of the aggressive mode..and 1916 wont see much of the less agressive mode, otherwise it wouldn't be historic it would be totally random ;) And NO it's not adjustable at all cannot be. Surprises? Go with historic then restart the manager a few times during a session. Other than that it's a no brainer. -

That would be a bonus maybe lol. 0 here is unlimited but no point as there is a real limit, the textures, and MOS files are 2048.

Great thanks for the heads up BirdDogICT, I recently got a 5870 so we could test with (and to see some DX11 coming ;)) and was hoping they'd tweak the early drivers as they go along.

What Siggi said - change it to something else in the Workshop and it will change! No point in using 0, as 2048 is the max size of the texture.

No many things aren't as simple as they seem unfortunately. P4 maybe. -
Welcome 1. You can enabled auto trim in flight if you need help see the key chart linked on the FAQ page, or I think it's ctrl+a if I remember. 2. click "Workshop" there are lots of settings for Campaign, flight density, enemy guns etc.. you can set the mission frequency all sorts (take it off historical mode).

They are sometimes mixed, but generally are the level of the squadron. Maybe for P4 depends on what is needed - there's usually a good reason why things are how they are - Winder does spend rather a lot of time programming :)

Which squad Morris? I tried RNAS-4 at at around that time and I can see a train a few 100 yards south on the tracks fine as it should be. Are you in campaign?
