  1. Dear all, I've been looking throughout all download sections and I could not find the ALQ-164 jamming pod used by Italian Naval aviation on Av-8 Plus Harriers. Although I am able to "play" on the *.ini files to modify one existing model...t I am not able to create a new model from zero. Wondering if somebody can assist me creating this Jamming Pod. Thanks!

  7. Dear All, As requested I managed to find out all information required to create the mentioned pod. Here below the 3-way plan (measures in cm): And below the technical info: ALQ-164 is the "Outside Shell", it contains the element Sanders ALQ-126B Charger Blue which provides protection against pulse radars with conic scan from 1 to 10 GHz, from band D to J. Power is over 1 Kw. Main techniques are RGPO, mainlobe blanking, SSW, inverse con-scan (IG). The second element ALQ-162 Compass Sail/Clokwise jams the CW radar (continuos wave) on the bands H (6 - 8 GHz) and J (10 - 20 GHz). Please let me know if by any chances I can get the model done. Thanks!

  9. Hi, Regret, but I could not find any other details...just forget it, I have the dimensions: 85" Long Diameter 16", weight 350 lb, two trapezoidal "winglets" on the side. It includes the jamming pod AN/ALQ-126B and AN/ALQ-162. Can't get anymore info...I wrote to a former USMC Harrier IT technician and he could only give me the L x d and weight, all the rest is on internet. Seems we're dealing with a mistery pod! Never mind...thanks for help anyway!

Sorry guys, but I can't get it working...I Downloaded the model from A-Site and alone is working fine but I did not understand how to get these 2 models working...I copied the *.lod file from the A-Team model into the Early and Late models but when I start I get an invisible plane, the cockpit is oriented 90 degrees on the left respect to the runway heading , no sounds and game crashes after few seconds...Any suggestions?

  15. Ciao Guys... I am having a little problem while flying the Italian Navy Harrier in Odyssey Dawn mod. When on the flight deck one of the two outriggers doesn't touch the floor. Thought problem was on the landing gear section of the data.ini file, so I copied the one from the Harrier of Desert Storm (which is working) but no luck... Any idea how to solve it? Attaching a screenshot to show what I am talking about
  16. Never mind...I solved! Had to play a bit with the numbers of Flight Deck height in Carrier data file and as well on the Landing Gears stroke length in the aircraft data. Now I have all 4 gears touching the ground and without the effect of gear wheels passing partially through the deck! Thanks!
  17. Well...one side I agree, but when you just ended a short landing and as soon as the aircraft touches down starts to roll left and right from one outrigger to another is not so nice! I am sure that it has to do with the Carrier flight deck...anyway I was just asking for some suggestion...!
  18. solved the issue with runways as well...and no more invisible targets...now I am really starting to enjoy it! Still some more improvement have to be done...but is much much better!
  19. Is fine...I silved the Harrier issues with HUD and Weapons...solved the issue with some units (especially enemy) sounds...now I only need to fix the "missing runways" and missing targets (yesterday I fired a JDAM on an invisible fuel tank!).
  20. Never mind...solved by my own, weapons are not showing because simply they're not including in the Campaign data.ini campaign starting supply. Added all of them (also AI versions of GBU's for the wingman) and everything's working more than fine... Merci FRPignon!
  21. U sure about this? Been reading some posts around and I found out that the Italian Navy AV8 Plus also loaded: GBU-12, GBU-16, GBU-24/EGBU-24, GBU-32, GBU-38, GBU-48, GBU-32 JDAM, AGM-88 HARM and Storm Shadow Plus the A/A AMRAAM (in the MOD only Sidewinder is available) Since all the weapons are there, just let me know how to add more weapons to the Plane in the Campaign...I found quite interesting playing in .ini files to adjust the mod as much close to reality as possible!
  22. Stolen the HUD Settings from the Harrier of a pack downloadable on this site...working now! Thanks for the tip...! Now next improvements you shall do is avvoiding enemy airplanes taking off from the ground w/o runway...and more sounds!
  23. I downloaded the two add-on you mentioned above, installed and had same problems...actually even more. I.E. Tornado was still showing with no A/G weapons availability during Campaign and received a mission to destroy a building (and you'll understand that only in the movies you can destroy a building with an A/A missile :) !). Then I tried back the Italian Harrier and despite I selected the Mavericks, on starting the mission they were not shown under the wings... Fact is that maybe there is come incompatibility issue, because before I had the SF2E only, updated to July 2013, I tried to install also SF2NA on it to allow Odyssey Down and got the message that installation was not possible because the game was already updated to a newer version...So to avoid re-starting the whole installation process (I had bad experience in the past where uninstalling/re-installing the same game with the same updates was not working anymore) I made a new installation on another folder (renamed ThirdWire 2). So probably the system cannot recognize the two different installations and mixes up settings. I just have a curiosity...what happens if I install the mod with only SF2 E installed?
