Type of problem: No A/G weapons available for Italian Tornado A/G campaign missions + Only Maverick Missiles available for Italian Navy Harrier, Italian Navy Harrier incomplete HUD (missing FPM, Pitch Ladder, Airspeed, Heading) Campaign working (YES/NO): YES Air unit of the campaign: Italian Air Force / Italian Navy Plane used by the air unit: Tornado GRI / Harrier
  2. Hi guys, I am playing the SF2 with Desert Storm Mod and would like to ask something... I usually fly Attack Airplanes so main missions as you know are Strike, Armed Recon and CAS and what I would like to know, which is the usual mission profile you prefer? I am Italian so sorry if I use the wrong words, but what I mean is, usually after take off, I take my squad up to 15000 - 20000 ft @ 300 kn, then once close to enemy territory border or at first RWR SAM tracking (wichever comes first) I go straight down, hit the deck and keep low at 400 kn. Once on the attack leg, full throttle, pull the plane up to 5000 - 10000 ft (depending on the target and weapon to be used), make necessary manouvers for target spotting / alignement, dive down, perform the attack (maybe more runs) and again back to 100-200 ft until egress from the danger area and finally up again to Cruise altitude of 20000 ft back to base. Problem by doing this is fuel, because mainly with the Harrier as soon as I bring the plane down, even at 300 kn it consumes an hell of a lot and even with ext thanks I always run out of fuel on the way back, and if I want to keep high altitude till I reach the target...all the enemy SAM will make target practice on me...since the plane is very limited in Chaff/Flare inventory (30 each) and no ECM. With the Tornado I may have similar problems if I play too much time around the target at full military power (never in AB except escaping from very bad situations!) and delay the egress, while with the A-10 usually mission range is always within reasonable limits. You have any better suggestion on fuel/speed/altitude (and safety !) flight plan profile for these missions? Thanks
  3. B-2A Spirit (Version 0.90)

Nicely done, but I find it bit too "heavy" on take-off... I took the entire lenght of Large Runway to get it airborne...and still had to keep no more than 5-10 degrees pitch to gain some speed/altitude. Maybe I overloaded it, which is the max TO weight?
  4. Shame on me...didn't understand it was Photoshopped! Next time I'll read more carefully! Anyway, I replaced the original F-117 with the one from download section of this site...and it looks a bit better, with a better cockpit and a nice designator too. Problem is, once bomb is relased and target hit, I can't find a way to switch the MFD off... and it gets distracting during landing i.e. As of the physics thing, of course I am aware I cannot drop my bomb once airborne or whenever/wherever I want and hope that it flies up to the target (it's still an un-propelled object)...I flown quite a lot of hours with Falcon 4.0 AF, full realism (except simplified re-fueling). Till now all F-117 missions I flown, never missed the target with single bomb payload and release range from FL12 to FL18. I'd say the difficult part of flying the F-117 is the landing... Anyway, being an Italian...I fly my Desert Storm one inch from the sand, risking to get my Tornado Fuel Tanks bitten by sand vipers and deliver MK's or CBU's looking at the face of the enemy...! Thanks for reply!
  5. How you switch on the night vision?...and also my f-117 doesn't have the "scan" thing on the Laser Guidance Display....
