  1. Sweet. Thanks. By the way, I would like to revert to SF2 stock effect. Is this possible?
  2. Hey! I just had an idea, toying around in SF2: I ! What about vautours? Dhimar or Paran could fly them. It would be a welcomed change from the generic Il-28 or F-100/A-4.
  3. Just a small question: is it normal that there is only one Avenger in the roster of French Navy, aka the player?
  4. It must be one of those days...
  5. Ok, thanks. BTW, huge and nasty bug playing Catalina Affair: Visby all of a sudden turned red in the 2nd mission, with soviet AAA spawing next to the airbase and shooting. Then, we moved... to a base in USSR. Said USSR went blue, too, whereas Sweden became red!
  6. I must say I am very impatient to play this one. :)
  7. SF2 : NA worth it?

Any advices? I'm getting better step by step, but still crave for advices! :)
  8. SF2 : NA worth it?

After a week of SF2:NA... I am very glad I bought it. And although I usually prefer lighter planes, I guess I am falling in love with the Tomcat. Even if it's a poor dogfighter (well... I might suck severly too).
  9. Well, thanks for your answers. I will give it a shot.
  10. Eric and guys, Great mod, as usual. It was one of my favorite too back in the old days of SF1. BTW, I've came accross a small issue: I'm trying to install the A-Team optional planes, but the LOD files of the S-2A and the E-1B are both differently named from what is written in the readme. For instance: E-1B ini & readme file do ask for a E-1B-R0e.LOD whereas the E-1 Package on the A-Team site only includes a E-1B-R0f.LOD No problem for the C-2 and the other one, though, even if I did not saw them ingame yet.
  11. I do like Daddyairplanes's idea. A coverage of the fall of South Vietnam would be cool. Actually, the U.S. had some treaty of defense with Saigon!
  12. Well, I guess my missiles are shoot down by flak before hitting as they seem to explode in the flak field. I did not know this was possible. Probably a SF2:NA new feature. By the way, was the swedish book translated into english? Another question: is it possible to revert to standart effects?
  13. Indeed, I was talking about the F8-E FN... Became "F" because I tought "french". Thanks for the quick fix! :)
  14. Great mod. I'm getting my arse handed to me by russians in the 2012 scenario but still trying to prevail. I don't know if I suck in modern environment or if Gripen's radar sucks. By the way Robot anti-ship missile tends to explode before hitting anything... and lacks a propulsion animation. Or is it me?
  15. Hi there. Great mod. I have a small issue : French F-8F Crusader lacks an afterburner animation.
  16. They are georgous! I must admit I dislike the Su-7... But not with this skin, that's a sweet one!
  17. @KjKakker: didn't remember the exact lines... And I came across a Val first. But the others weren't far They were willing to dance... And so was the Val... Then, captain Yelland gave us "Weapons free".
  18. Visual contact on bandit. ... S... sir... You're not gonna believe this!
  19. Well, and the others were commies. So South Africa is the blue side.
  20. Nice! By the way, I've never played a two seater with rear guns in TK's games: does the AI handle the guns?
  21. All these nations do have a strong naval tradition. Few arab states, if any , do so. They all are land-powers. I've always seen Dhimar somewhere in the Arabian Peninsula... A place where carriers aren't needed. Dhimar does not need carriers: their ennemy is right across the border, not overseas. And they don't have to defend overseas territories or huge chunks of ocean. Dhimar would more be more realistic with a green water navy. IMHO, it's overkill and quite unrealistic. Does S.Arabia own a carrier? Do they plan to do so? Nope. Neither does Oman, for instance.
