  1. Cool TIE Fighter video

Well, you can track down Yamato 2199 fairly easily. The animation wasn't cheap at all, if that's what you mean.
  2. Cool TIE Fighter video

I frankly don't fancy anime. Except from Dragon Ball (forget the awfull French or English dub, get the japanese version. And it's free of censorship), because I grew up with it. Same goes with Harlock. I am more familiar with earlier versions (we call them Albator 78 & Albator 84 in France). It's quite a dark and adult world and the 78 version is frankly quite deep. I don't know much about later versions that are graphically speaking more close to what you saw. As for Space Battleship Yamato (Star Blazzers in the U.S.), the 70's and 80's versions are unknown to me. But the 2013 version "Space Battleship Yamato 2199" is stunning. Well, there are some anime clichés, but it was a very good surprise! Here's a quick sample https://youtu.be/8b6q0swc8MM
  3. Cool TIE Fighter video

I don't know if Captain Harlock (Albator in France) anime or Space Battleship Yamato (especially the last version 2199, which is pure awesomeness) are popular in the U.S., but this is very close to it.
  4. Cool TIE Fighter video

    That's plainly awesome.
  5. Happy Birthday Dave

    Joyeux Anniversaire, Dave!
  6. The ask for help thingy is way less efficient when you are in the 50's or 60's: most of the time , the friendlies will fail to detect the ennemies or come in fighting range too late. Late 80's and 90's game isn't as well modeled. We have issue, for instance, with active radar missiles. And AFAIk, it's a one bullet gun. I've never seen it working twice in a campaign.
  7. Could some friend here post some screenies of both Gerwin's and Baltika's terrains in order to choose?
  8. Also, the said state had its "own" flag (well, defaced french one actually). Could be fun for markings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saar_Protectorate
  9. THE PEOPLE DEMANDS SCREENSHOTS OR TEASERS!
  10. It's a girl!

    Congrats!
  11. Knife fight above Magdeburg, G.D.R.
  12. SF2V with the expansion is among the most challenging things around here.
  13. IMHO, the SF2 series IS the successor to Jane's Fighter Anthology.

  17. Love the peashooter. Had the most awesome skins ever.
  18. When I finish my current Phoney war campaign (or when I am dead...) and start the Campaign of France one, I'll do it too. I've already flown 13 missions, got shot down once by a damned rear gunner (no harm to me) and got something like 20 germans.
  19. That's the way I always play. Hence my tendencies not to finish campaigns.
