New Cockpit for AEG G.IV
Silberpfeil reviewed Stephen1918's file in First Eagles - WWI and Early Years - Add On Cockpits
I'm not much of a bomber pilot when it comes to hitting a designated target, but this is a new avenue I'm occasionally following to enjoy some of the alternative scenarios available in FE2. I'm continually surprised at how well (given the time frame and available technology) the models handle and your addition to the simulation makes more of that experience possible. Thank you! -
Very impressive, Geezer - top shelf stuff. It's so well done I might have second thoughts about squeezing the trigger when I've got your model in my gunsight!

Sort of thought I'd see something like this in the "What If" sections! Interesting link to the Popular Mechanics article below pix: http://www.popularmechanics.com/military/weapons/a28288/hawkeye-humvee-mounted-howitzer/?src=nl&mag=rdt&list=nl_rdt_news&date=092117

...all seems to fit the qualifications for "Second-luckiest Pilot"!

Are you going to watch Tom Cruises new movie American Made?

Looks a little more interesting than "flying dog$#!+ out of Hong Kong" - I'm in! -
Not quite sure of the pre-video circumstances caught by the security camera, but it looks like the Skyhawk lost power during take-off and collided with the tree just as it was beginning to stall out. The impact causes the tree to break, cushioning the aircraft into an upright landing in the parking lot, and the pilot sustains no injuries! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdO7Ag_j-9E Brings to mind the old adage: "A good landing is one you walk away from, and a great landing is one where the airplane can be used again"!

Only a few seconds of video, less than a second for the aircraft - ever wanna see what 500+ knots looks like from 100' away?

Another one of those incredible careers it seems you can only dream about! About ten years ago there was a documentary on "The Wrecking Crew" and the back-up studio work they did for a wide variety of big-name musical groups during the 1960's and 1970's - well worth your while if you get a chance to see it! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wrecking_Crew_(2008_film)

I'm glad you told me who this guy in FE2 is, 33LIMA! Twice I had my Spandaus lined up to take him out, and both times my guns jammed!

Just wondering - can the observer/rifleman be installed in the Farman HF.20 or Fokker M.7/B.1 model?

A couple more: Gravity is not just a good idea. It's the law - and it's not subject to appeal. When in doubt, hold on to your altitude. No one has ever collided with the sky.

Those guys have such a great sense of purpose...!
