Mauri, pure tu.

Of course we can't have helo only helicopter. It was just a question about Gaziemir which I often see in RL, like Etimesgut (home base!) and akinci and kayseri. And what about Milas Bodrum? -

Umut is Gaziemir actually operational with fighters^? I remember seeing only Helicopters there. And of course I will ask you if Etimesgut, Esemboga , Akinci Kayseri and Nevsehir are going to be in the map. Also you probably have many pictures. if you need some air pictures of turkey, I have something -

yes defintely there are armed recon in the upgraded RAGE pack (LOL), but I think the problem comes when it is selcted "CAS missions" that requires of course "attack" loadout. If CAS areas are not present loadout will be only partially loaded. In the least this was in series one, if I remember. -

BeachAV8r, are you trying this in the range terrain? I think so, probably it is needed for your AAR. It is possible (if I remember well) that the "Range" has no definite CAS locations. In this case it will accept the CAS mission , if the airplane you chose is capable of it, but it won't load the "attack" loadout, or load it partially. I ran in this problem in series one before and was getting crazy with it. Try another terrain, with the same loadout and it should appear properly. -
Bello l'F-16. E interessante anche il carico. Così armato è in pratica davvero multiruolo.

Afghanistan Terrain (Modern -2003 & Later)

A question. Should be no problem in using in series one, provided the changes form unicode to ansi right? And secondary, to Wrench. In which way this is "modern"?. I mean, what forbids the use of the terrain for russian ops in the 70s? Adding a russa as "friendly nation" (or soviet, actually) should be enough. Another thing. Taliban AAA should be.. hm well maybe Zu-23, a few toyota with guns, but no flaks and heavy sams of course. and defintely stingers and strelas. Which should be way more lethal. I tried to tweak them, specifically for this install, but I can't really make them a "threat" Any idea?. This is important for Afghan I think Ground troops are easy to make, lots of infantry operations. With And Stary, yes a minor tweak of the tiles would be great. Isreli are pefrct but too green. (Actually I flew (VERY LOW altitude) over israel in december, from Ramat David) and I was so surprised to see how your "tiles" matched reality. Thank you again, and ofr course thanks to EricJ and Wrench and Gepard And firs and foremost, to all those are serving in Afghanistan. -

Couple of teasers. New tiles by Stary Umut, this is much better representation of Turkey. The problem with Anatolia is the wide variety of climate and therefore vegetation. It can esaily range from arid, to wet or actually snowy, to luscious green an desertic stony. I flew two weeks ago from Ankara to Izmir, a it was ranging to full snow and winter that it looked like Canada, to the almost spring-like weather on the Efes and Izmir areas! -
Sorry to hijack the thread, but where were you stationed in Turkey? And defintely 747 is an aviation achievement

Thanks!.. thanks Dave and everyone , yes long time in Combatace, and more to come. More arguments, and more friendships and heated debates with the A-type people in Combatace. Drink one for me, I will drink for you. (Every year I get surprised on how many people is actually born on St.Valentine's day)
