Does the "Crisis" affected you (or your country) yet?
MigBuster replied to Silverbolt's topic in The Pub
A lot of jobs are going here thats for sure - and unemployment has reached the highest level here for 10 years - so everybody seems to be making a big thing of it here, the house prices are falling finally - and the news says a 2 year recession is a coming - but u never know!. Hasnt affected me personally yet - they even gave a pay rise in line with the RPI to make up for it - although they are making redundancies, and not getting in any more staff. Since then the petrol has gone from 115p down to 85p per litre and the gas electric company's have been told they have to reduce their prices :) Still it wont be a happy Xmas for a lot of people this year. -
Dunno - some more A-10s like A-10Cs for example should be enough - the B-1B makes a great CAS jet too - any jet that can deliver guided weps is all thats needed for that environment. tbh in an emergency an F-16 can get out there quicker and drop a few JDAMs accurately on coords given by the ground troops! Hindsights a wonderful thing - as in the future can be difficult to predict - and ironically when the EF2000, F-22 etc were laid down in the 80s the A-10 was considered virtually obsolete and was going to be scrapped. IMO the money went in exactly the right direction - we now have jets that are able to get the air sup that the A-10 needs to operate in the first place - after all not all future wars will be against a country with no real Air Defence Systems! - and even without a war they act as a deterrent, and if required can outrun Airliners and intercept Russian Bombers - something an A-10 cant do. And of course if you don't develop your Air capability - someone else will instead.

Huh we had the Vietnam sim "Flight Of The Intruder" back in 1991 you know - as far as games go its mostly down to how much money the sales will generate tbh People can do what they want - its their sim/game and their imagination - everyone has a fave side I bet and fave plane - wouldnt be human otherwise.

Almost forgot - "Gimme Some Money" lol http://ru.youtube.com/watch?v=I-BYzaDwNoE

Fully repaired!! how nice of them lol - So some 20 year old MiG-29As to work along side their Hawker Hunters! - dont think even Syria would be bothered about confronting them tbh. Can only think its to help the national army deal with Hezbollah etc.

Probably the communication infrastructure and means to detect the things was lacking - theres a bit on wiki however that good is - says in later raids the Zeppelins out climbed the RNAS aircraft being already at a high altitude - they had a similar top speed too lol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeppelin -

Wow - lets hope its just a move to get Pakistan going after the Terrorists! -
Hi Rodent - welcome aboard. Yes the weapons packs - there should be quite a few old threads on this one already - The problem is the one you used was probably created for an earlier version of the game - if you have just installed it directly into the latest patched version of SFG then some newer bits may have been replaced with older incorrect bits from the weapons pack. therefore its best at the mo (You need to provide a link to the actual weps pack you downloaded btw) if you install the weps pack to a new folder on your desktop - then manually move over the "weapons" folder into the game and go from there. You will find a lot of useful info in the knowledge base on here too - see my sig
