  2. The MiG-23 in WOI tries slashing attacks sometimes - was most impressed with that - maybe there is some AI code in the Mig-23 that contributes to that?

    F-29 Retaliator - now that brings back bad memories - very poor sim! Had Birds of prey and MiG-29 (probably the version before yours) but wasnt impressed by either The Gunship one was ace thou!

    Heskey was a big bloke who got pushed around too easily for my liking - but still he has played well in recent England games IMO Am hoping Torres is back soon - although the last games have been 3-0 and 5-1 there have too many dominated games not won due to poor finishing! cant believe Carragher has put in 2 own goals this year - we don't need any more challenges - and flippin Man U are creepin up - - its ours to throw away again!!

    Check the version (bottom right hand corner of the main menu screen ) - I suspect though you will need to download the Oct 2008 version from Thirdwires site which is the latest update

    Typhoon Pilot hey! - some guys have all the luck lol - maybe you can comment on the current flight model in this series - or maybe not if its classified :) hey in this series you can go back further in time and fly the various F-4s too! welcome!

  10. Well unfortunately in WOI there have a been a few times Ive been stuck with MiG-21s chasing me home regardless so have felt obliged to shoot them all down haha - also useful for helping the wingie out too!
  11. Depends what version - I guess the A-7E would be best with CCIP - however in this series with the better AI you can just swing around and shoot down any MiGs in the A-4
  12. Have a good source that states SA-3s were there in 72 for what its worth
  13. Can recommend an F-100D campaign in WOE 1962 if you have everything on Hard as you say - if you have Oct 2008 the AI has an annoying tendancy to try and shoot you down - in previous patches you could just ignore a lot of the enemy Migs!

    A Ferrari, a supermodel and a new PC - although I very much suspect its socks and shower gel - so hopefully there will b some alcohol somewhere!
  16. Currently the original game series is being redone and relaunched to work officially with Vista. If you have Vista you may as well get Strike Fighters 2 which came out yesterday - or wait for StrikeFighters:Vietnam, SF:Europe, SF:Israel. Out of the original game set I would recommend Wings Over Israel - but they are not officially supported on Vista (they do work though).

Everyone has their opinion but for a newbie SF2 is a great game out of the box - something SF:P1 was nowhere near - so at least they will get to like the series from the start - maybe TK had a demon to lay to rest or somethin lol. for the rest of us - it just confuses the hell out of everything a bit more Nice to have better cockpits - but something I wouldnt notice - look how pants the 3D pit is in F4:AF!
  18. May buy to support the cause - and thats it - theres more than 1 reason why SF:P1 and SFG left my HD years ago! The new terrain still doesnt look as good to me as the Deuces repaint which was ace! Hey lets hope it works on Windows 7
