  3. File Name: The Last Stand File Submitter: MigBuster File Submitted: 02 September 2008 File Category: User Made Campaigns The Last Stand December 14th, 1974. Being almost certain that the US wont intervene anymore, the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) launch a full scale invasion of the Republic of South Vietnam. Defence aid to the South from the US has been drastically reduced and the South Vietnamese economy has all but collapsed. Ammo, spares and fuel are in short supply, and so is the moral of the South Vietnamese people. Your only hope is to hold out long enough to gain renewed US support. The South VNAF currently have the Worlds fourth largest airforce thanks to the "Enhance" and "Enhance Plus" programs from the US......... Historical only in the Aircraft, Units and Air Bases used by the VNAF squadrons. Other than that you will be limited to hitting Targets in Southern NV/South Vietnam/Laos/Cambodia only - You wont be going up North - the VNAF never had the range anyway. Only for Wings Over Vietnam SP4 version v08.30.06 - only tested with the default terrain also - but should be no issues adding trees etc MUST be a new install - none of the stock campaigns will work after you have installed this! Read the instructions - they will tell you which jets to download and where from The gamplay file should give you some hints of how the campaign should be played Only parts of this Mod comes under the CA Freeware licencing - read the Credits file for details Northrop F-5E Tiger II (Mirage Factory ) - CombatAce or www.column5.us Northrop F-5A Freedom Fighter (Mirage Factory) - CombatAce or www.column5.us Douglas A-1HVNAF and A-1JVNAF Skyraiders - Razbam “The Skyraiders Vol 2” for SF.(www.razbam.org) Payware see note below AN-2 Colt (Pasko & Team)- www.column5.us Bell “Armed” UH-1H “Huey” - at CombatAce - you need to get the UH-34 also as below. Douglas AC-47 “Spooky” - “A Team” Skunkworks (http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ ) Cessna A-37B Dragonfly – “A Team” Skunkworks (http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ ) UH-34 Seabat – Only needed for the UH-1H sounds and cockpit – “A Team” Skunkworks (http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ Note1: Razbam Skyraiders Vol 2 is worth the money for the cockpit alone – however if you are stuck there is a free A-1H at CombatAce – if you do this the quickest way would be to change the campaigns data.ini and .ini files and replace the A-1HVNAF and A-1JVNAF with A-1H and the skin for the A-1H you want to use. You would then need to change the A-1H_loadout.ini. Played and tested loads but as ever there may be some issues to resolve somewhere. Click here to download this file

  5. Sorry dont do much in the way of carrier placing so would need to go through the entire thing myself to help - however there must be so many old threads on this - it comes up every other month!. Searching old threads may take a few hours but is actually a lot quicker than waiting a few days for someone who knows to show up.
  6. Is that right? Never seen the F-14A/D quoted with a high alt speed over M2.35 tbh
  7. YAP1 is no longer available apparently - but YAP2 is due to be released soon - no date yet
  8. 1.check you are using the right version of the editor 2.If so Use it to open up the weapondata.ini in "weapons" and see if the AIM-7s are there
  9. One easy way may be to wait for the next patch - the chaff/flares seem much less effective in WOI. Your other options are to remove countermeasures from the SU-27 or up the values of the missiles via the weps editor. to remove - open up the su-27_data.ini and find the [chaff dispenser] section (or similar) - set the chaff and flare values to 0
  10. This was actually AI only flights not mine - the weird thing is them ignoring all the waypoints and keep flying to the end of the Map
  11. Auto rudder

no idea - maybe on easy level The rudder has little to no use at the speeds you go at in F4 - useful for landing against a crosswind - or if you are caught very slow in a DF - but thats about it.
  12. I loaded up my Phantom flights with Paveways with laser designators only in WOV - not only were none of them dropped - every time the entire flight ignored the target waypoint and just kept flying in a straight line till they hit the map edge. So went back to MK82s and no issues not tried this in WOI yet
  13. Not fully sure what you are doing here the [AirUnitxxx] must run in sequence with no duplicates. Is their a reason it cant use AirUnit001 ?
  14. for the If its only happening with the F-8 then open the f8.ini and check [AircraftData] AircraftFullName=F-4E Phantom II AircraftDataFile=F-4E_data.ini CockpitDataFile=F-4E_cockpit.ini HangarScreen=F-4E_hangar.bmp <------ LoadoutImage=F-4E_loadout.bmp <------ If not try creating a new pilot and new campaign and see if it works then
  15. If the emblems are not part of the skin - then look in the skins decals.ini file. If the entries for where the emblems go says "Insignia" - then you can change the nation of the skin in texture.ini eg [Decal001] MeshName=fuselage_P DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=Insignia <-------------------------- Position=-1.203,-0.124 Rotation=0.0 Scale=0.85 DecalMaxLOD=3
  16. Practise - if you havnt got CCIP then its WW2 style Dive Bombing. No idea if the Kurnass ever had CCIP - the original F-4E didnt. and read this: http://simhq.com/_air/air_055a.html#top
  17. 1 way for now ctrl + R then press F8 to see what you have targeted - just a bit anoying
  18. Not much help but - Works fine for me - just downloaded it via Firefox
  19. look in the knowledgebase for the Vista thread
  20. Yep - create a folder called cockpit, extract the files you need from the object.cat then put them in the cockpit folder. err the level you set your game at in the options determines the avionics you get - there will be easy/normal/hard - if you get a radar that sees 360 degrees around you then thats easy for example.
  21. Seem to remember reading that this may be the last upgrade for SF/SFG
  22. Press E by default like you do for all ground targets then launch it within correct parameters
  23. F-111 cockpit

dont believe they are on here either - Whats the URL?
  24. F-4 RWR

The B/D were used up till the end of the war and must have been upgraded at some point - have a RIO account of firing out chaff in an F-4B on account of the warnings he was getting(1972) The F-4C seems to have been replaced by the D/E by about 1969 so not sure on that - but a pilot says when trying an ALQ-71 for the first time in Jan 67 he was worried about the cloud over Hanoi not giving them much of a warning if SAMs lifted off - doesnt partcularly mean they didnt have any audio warning tone though.
