Lol....you're year's behind the times m8, there's very very little you can do to this series of sims that hasn't already been done. Sorry to burst your bubble.

@ carlo.....yes please m8....all I've really done so far is redraw all the lines and rivets & add a few details....pity it wasn't exported with bump maps though.

TW GR3 getting a little attention......

Falkland Islands getting a bit of a make over..... More undulating terrain, RAF Mount Pleasant for dates after the main conflict, Stanley airfield now works as it should [ but I had to modify the map to achieve it] & various other tweaks .

Not bad for an old game is it really ?? keeps me happy anyway A big thank you to all you folks that have made this game what it is today....

Would it be possible to create "fake" afterburners or even just jet engines with no sound effects until the "burners" kick in....they could have a really small amount of thrust right up till 90% or where ever you need it then you could have the jet sound and exhaust smoke effect come into play together..... If you get what I mean.

I've found this happens with a lot of the user made aircraft that have their own sound file, usually it's easily cured by giving the sound file its own entry in the soundlist ini. just use the stock sound entry of your choice for the basic settings but renamed for whatever engine sound your plane should be using. Thinking about it, shouldn't all custom sounds have their own soundlist ini entry anyway ??
