Regular guy was not driving delivery and sub must not be making so many pitstops. Nay, regular guy is great, just likes to chew the fat and have someone listen to his ramblings. Maybe the sub ran the route in reverse? The device sure has come a long way since version2. Been really enjoying the eye-candy flying a Roland down by Switzerland, and a Strutter near London. Took a free flight in a DFW.C.V. at dawn with a full moon setting and set off for Paris. The colors in the clouds and sky as the rising rays of the sun light them up riveled X-plane or FSX. Decided not to bomb any landmarks and took out two bridges. Good time! Did some quick combat and remembered that I need to turn the plane, not just me head.... OUCH. Need to listen for the normal sound of stressed wood creaking. Deflections shots are a bit off now, but I'll work on that. Gotta put a hot key for F12 on the trhrottle or joystick .I can read the wing mounted guages now!

Been enjoying the two seaters occassionaly and decided to hop in the rear seat and see if I could put a few rounds into the ea. The gun movement is mapped to my Ch Pro throttle, not sure of the name of the " wiggly button", but I'd like to change the assignment to my mouse. Can't find this assignment anywhere and I've looked a few times. What do I need to do?

I used trackir2 quite a bit back in my IL2 days when flying with a virtual squadren. Sadly, my lack of high speed internet put an end to online flying. Sure, please pm me your profile, Thanks in advance. Leaning out of the cockpit or to the side sounds like a big advance!

I don't oc the memory, but there are options to do so. Not sure if "turbo mode" does so automatically, kinda doubt it. Mostly I read up on milder nonextereme settings other's have used and apply them. The Asus ENGTX 550 TI DC/DI/1GD5 graphics card came with software to OC and it works very well. Also read up on the Nvidia control panel settings and tweaks, they made a big difference in smoothing out stutters. Hopefully my trackIr 5 will arrive this afternoon, so I need to educate myself on that. The sticky in the general help forum was informative, hope not too much is different in setting up a 5 instead of a 4

True, I didn't think I'd see much of a difference either, but I did. Some amd fx6300 came with a "turbo Mode" to overclock to 4.1

OFF-gasm...LOL I recently built myself a new rig after many years of running a reliable old AMD machine, which still runs fine. I found that overclocking my AMD 8350 made a big difference, stock was 4.0 and things looked good, but at 4.8 all the sliders are at 5,and fps are solid smooth v-synced at 60fps. But I'm running on a 24" monitor at 1920x1080 with an inexpensive Asus 550GTX Ti. My Asus Sabertooth mobo is easily overclocked with a program it came with or from the funky new style UEFI bios. There is probably a program for your mobo too. A friend of mine is overclocking the same CPU you have at 4.3 with a stock AMD heatsink/fan, can't recall what mobo he has. I think your mobo has a program for overclocking called AXTU ...ASRock Extreme Tuning Utility (AXTU) is an all-in-one software to fine-tune different features in an user-friendly interface, which includes Hardware Monitor, Fan Control, Overclocking, OC DNA and IES. In Hardware Monitor, it shows the major readings of your system. In Fan Control, it shows the fan speed and temperature for you to adjust. In Overclocking, you are allowed to adjust the CPU frequency, ratio and some voltages for optimal system performance. In OC DNA, you can save your OC settings as a profile and share with your friends. Your friends then can load the OC profile to their own system to get the same OC settings. In IES (Intelligent Energy Saver), the voltage regulator can reduce the number of output phases to improve efficiency when the CPU cores are idle without sacrificing computing performance. Sounds like you have the video card drivers sorted out Have Fun!!!

Just installed it two days agao and am having a great time! Haven't been this excited and enthralled with a game/sim since RB3D came out way back in the late 1990's. My search for an excellent offline sim with campaign is over. I took a vaca day just to fly....this is good stuff!!! Any tips on filling out claim forms in campaigns?

Yeah, I debated between the two. Came down to a sale price that was less than half the price of the other. Just hope it will be supported for awhile. I would have been happy if my ancient trackir2 was still supported, but of course then I wouldn't have purchased a newer version. "automat" might be the right term.. I was playing $0.25 a play/reel when it hit. Would have been sweet if I'd max bet, like 8x the payout... I'm not much into Casinos, but the all you can eat Sunday buffet is very good. We go maybe once every two months or so, but my wife and her friends go more often. She was "comped" two free buffet dinners so she took me out for my B-Day. Soon their horse racing season resumes. I didn't see an option to purchase the download insurance, but none of my cards were accepted. Even tried my wife's card, wich I used lto purchase BHaH due to same issues, and it didn't go through either. Must be our banks have had some issues with the Avangate as a "stop" was put on her card when I ordered BHaH. That kinda put me in the dog house when she went to use it later that day.. Guess I'll either have to call my bank and get pre-approva,l or maybe one of those store bought prepaid cards will work?

Jarhead, Yeah, I can't believe it is the same game engine! Took a free flight and explored London...WOW, and the clouds...it tops the current x-plane and fsx for environment and detail. Shiloh, thanks, didn't know I could be that detailed, ground troops may help. Sometimes my squad isn't close by if I'm not flight leader... Anybody know if HitR will allow a 40 hour download? I've done downloads that size before with a download manager/resumer and not had troubles {FSX and X-plane addons}, but I'm aware that some download shops only allow one attempt.

I'd have to use a download resumer if done from home, will HitR allow me to do that?

Thanks Guys! I had been just using my wingman's name, rank and the type of craft destroyed. Didn't know I could add in more data. Sometimes I'm not sure of the exact make of craft destroyed and have been writing it down on paper after pausing the game. Is there a way to replay the mission, take notes and then fill out a claim report? Asking because the claim report shows up right after mission and I wasn't sure if I could fill it out after prompted. The grapics in this sim are way better than I ever imagined they could be. Totally amazing for a mod to an old game engine. Can't talk enough about the offline fun I'm having in campaign mode. I love rural living in Panama, NY except for lack of high speed internet. The current gaming trend is almost exclusively geared to online play which is a deal breaker for me. ROF is a no-go, but BHaH is a perfect fit. Will be getting Hat In The Ring soon, can't recall the download size, but can access high speed at a friend's or relative's house in the city if need be. Right now I'm wondering if my old TrackIr 2 would work with BHaH and windows7.....kinda doubt it
