  1. If I remember correctly this can be done only on the 3d model stage.
  2. Last two pictures of Navy sluff are taken 1990/91 during DS. At the time Sluff was ready for retirement...and VA had not enough pylons at the moment, so pylons from stations 2,3,6 and 7 were didided for two aircraft. Except HARM birds. Second pic- empty station 6 may indicate that mission was carried without it and flight was refueled on route. In real unlike in game pylons are not something that you plug and play on a whim..it takes time to wire systems and pylons..and during combat deployment not always there is a time for it. Often aircafts wired for HARMs stayed HARM bird for whole deployment while other birds were bomb trucks with TERs. Also from certain point ..if you have TER fixed to pylon and mission requires smaller payload - you just hang one mk82 on TER...it saves time too.

  4. Yup. I know where is one and i had a plan to go there in summer...but plans for summer changed(again) and I just ended in Italy instead...again.

  8. I uploaded some important bug fixes/updates on the T-55/T-62/T-72 series. When the file will be approved - download a small update rar file and overwrite old files. Also, a smoke effect for some tanks was added.
  9. View File Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza Vol.1 The first part of Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza mods for the SF2 series game. First of all. This is not entirely a 'Plug and Play' mod. Yes, some objects will appear in the game right away, but some will not - because some objects are meant to be used via the target editor. In general, the whole mod is built for terrain enhancement - a lot of objects should be added in terrain TYPES and TARGETS. But of course, some like tanks, SAMs, AAA, etc will appear automatically in the game. Having this in mind this mod is mostly for terrain builders, modders, and experienced users. If you are hoping for quick-click plug-and-play - this is not for you. All objects have destroyed models added. Gun files should be taken carefully - they are slightly modified by guuruu with decreased performance. I believe all the gun files are provided and you should have them already, if I forgot something - well it happens sometimes. Sorry for that. 5 new weapons for some of the objects. 9M14M, 9M14P, 9M111, 9M113, 9M114 Part one contains mostly tanks, APCs, IFVs, SPAAG, and some support armored objects. All of the skins are green, I added a few camo versions and a few extra but just for specific objects. NO Tan/Desret scheme. This might come in a more specific mod for specific terrains in the future. Userlist ini files are just there but they might need editing for your own use. Under any circumstances DO NOT mix these objects with ODS 30Aniversary Edition mod. ODS30AE objects are exclusive for ODS and differ in many ways from Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza. (Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza Vol.1) Now they are fighting properly, still, anti-aircraft guns are disabled in data.ini. added the correct smoke screen effect (or I even missed it in released files?) - which leads me to question - how to make this effect last longer.   14. which skin you are trying to do? templates (AV-8BNA) are available in gimp format from a guy who made that bomb truck. I heard also that he is quite busy so it may take a while, and his templates are a mess...

    as clim995 said. You can also rename some objects to 'overwrite' standard. But this is just for a few ground objects. like fuel tankers, commands, and trucks. The rest of course will appear randomly on some mission as ground object (armed_recon for example - but this is actually an unfortunate event - as you do not want to see a convoy of deployed hospitals or command posts). As it is stated in the readme - this mod is mostly for terrain builders, modders, and experienced users. and there is also a hope that someone will put those objects in some future terrain mod.
