  1. yes it can. But not with data.ini file from that pack. There is somewhere Israeli AH-64 Peten mod. And with data from there, you can. (or be close) but it needs practice. A lot of practice. this is set by modder who build the cockpit. Not possible to change much, without access to the source 3d file. ... We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile.

  3. This is Mobile_AAA. 9K32M (SA-7). But... Before we had a lonely guy starring at the sky with a fiberglass tube in the middle of nowhere... Silly. So I decided that I want some more background to this. For some middle east scenario, I have two guys in jeepo.. For more formal formations (like Soviet Army) after Gepard's suggestion, I have mounted them with BTR... And I think BTR adds KPV to AA fire. Not sure because something hit me on my test run...and didn't check who was shooting. But that is the idea. Not a single guy with a launcher posing as 'SAM site' or serious AA defense. Was also thinking of adding maybe Strela/Igla guy somewhere near the Command truck or some other AAA or artillery formations (as a part of it) Will see.

  5. Thanks. That UAZ is part of some specific era/region mod...just converted into 'soviets'. I will go with BTR-60 then... Anyone knows if lines in texture.ini: Nation= works for ground objects? Was thinking about making some extra skins for middle-east mods...where many nations were using the same vehicles..but different paint would be a nice touch.

  7. Very nice. But really, the model could benefit from nicer UV mapping (at least 2-3 sheets for skins*), bumps, and specular maps. * 2-3 skin sheets in 2048 will work smoother than one in 4096.

    Nicely done. Thanks for all the efforts. Nice model but suffers from a lack of nice mapping, normal and specular maps.

  11. Might be wrong, But NA is needed to process F-14 radar. Without it..no AvionicsF14A.dll - so no working radar. you want to use third party community F-14. I think it also refers to avionicsF14.dll. - Meaning NA is needed. Honestly, you can skip DLCs. Not bringing anything important to the game. Nort Atlantic at this point is a must. As this was technically the last upgrade of the game ( and some small downgrades but this is a different story)

  13. Generally, you need North Atlantic SF2. Yes, but it will not have F-14 radar capabilities that are part of SF2 North Atlantic game.
  14. Modded maps are way much better than stock originals. So if you want to have stock terrain - perhaps should look for Wrench's stock terrain overhaul. Which will be better. Other terrains (community releases) are usually also hi-end products compared to stock. Just simply go to downloads - download- check - compare - decide if mods stay or not. There are few aircraft that are better quality than mods (but this is my opinion so I am not gonna decide for you which is better or not). Other than that quality of community modded aircrafts are quite decent (at least that is what i heard ) Remember that community aircrafts are FREE. So again you can download - check - compare - decide. Now after years, I know that I wouldn't buy DLC...but now is too late. It all depends on you what you want to have in your game folder. Quantity or quality. Take it easy, Mods will be here still. This game is not going anywhere, we will be stuck here for quite some time still , so nothing will change in a matter of aircraft handling (unless TK will pop up Strike Fighters 2030 and all mods from here will be unusable in any way).
  15. Mostly scratch builds, some models have borrowed parts from my friend's models who was working on some OFP mods years ago. If you will take a closer look at the model - many parts (tracks, wheels, lights, hatches, periscopes, some turrets, etc..are just swapped from one model to another...to save time on modeling, maybe not 100% accurate for some models but good enough to resemble original. All trucks share the same frame with wheels, "transmission", etc (just stretched if needed for a particular car.
  16. Bobik aka UAZ-469 ZSU-23-4M and older variant ZSU-23-4V1 think will go all the way, and do two more older versions.
  17. I didn't upload seating troops yet? well if I will find some time coming months, will look into it. I have it somewhere, for some helos...(obviously for Sea Stallion too). not paratroopers...but the idea is similar.
