Generally, it is not important what aircraft when and where, by - .ini files you can attach anything underwings, anytime anywhere - not realistic but you can ...even another aircraft can be there. -

Is ace combat-style maneuvering possible for a mod?
yakarov79 replied to rogueranger1993's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
well, most of the modders here will let you wait for 2 weeks...but I guess some achieved said status - modding for more than 10 years already. Seems to me that you are quite new here...so if you explore more you will find that this game improved quite well since the original product was released. Usually without any support from the developer. no aces to code - no fireworks. If you have abilities to obtain in any way TW holy grail, then you are a hero. -
SF2 Campaign Mods: Why the need for separate mod folders?
yakarov79 replied to rogueranger1993's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
You can install all in one without any problem. The reason is - less mess. Some just want to have specific installs focused on an era, war, country, etc. It is only for user convenience. A lot of useful info about merging or not campaigns you can find in a knowledge base. -

On Friday morning, 19 July 1957, a USAF F-89J serial number 53-2547 under Project Plumbbob, launched a Genie MB-1 unguided rocket at an altitude 18500 feet over NTS Area 10. After reaching Mach 3 and traveling 4250 meters in 4.5 seconds its W-25 warhead was detonated by a signal from a ground station. The resulting explosive yield was 1.7 kilotons. MB-1 named Shot John was the first and only fired live, nuclear-armed, air to air anti-aircraft missile. real photo. Photo courtesy of National Nuclear Security Administration/Nevada Field Office. -

still, you will need 3dmax file. Or convince modder who made old one to improve those parts. Or someone who will have access to the max file can change it. -

i think your F-14 mirrors are quite ok. No obstacles in view. As for dcs mirrors - wah no no... looks maybe cool on pic...but not effective. Viewport angles in SF2 are set in 3d max by mapping them on a square bitmap. Position and size set in 3ds max determine view in the game. -
