Am using for army helopilot03/04 from OldDiego (i think). And for marines usnpilot03/02 but i don't know who made them. -
After conversion to SF2 you will probably see some problems with weapon racks when loading weapons on loadout menu. It is problem with gen2 engine. It will chose always the first TLR weapon rack. Plus some problem with total pylon mass, it is measured diferent way than sf1. Here is fix for SF2 + weapons. The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters. I have just modified it a bit. It is designed for and works in the SF1 and SF2 series. However this pack is build on SF1 folder tree. For SF2 You have to separete Decals folders. There is a plenty of tutorials how to convert to SF2 series. There is a issue with tractorbeamshadow. I will try to fix this asap. For now temporary i dont have posibility to convert and work on SF2 sim. Standard commands for activating Cobra features: AIRBRAKES - sun filter/shader on off - just for fun no airbrakes so empty animation slot for use. ARRESTING HOOK - jump from pilot station to gunner station. LANDING GEAR - belly light deploy/retract at any speed in late models - nose lights activate/deactivate in early model. Lights must on. A2A mode - gunner station guncross for turret. A2Ground mode - pilot M73 cross. Then reduce throttle vector as needed and reduce power to 69%. It should fly around 110kts now. 69% is about cruising speed. When on the ground you can see rotating blades for pitch and roll. Just additional and unnecesary thing (not visible so much when flying) but it is possible so it is there. Not working like i want but better then nothing. There are two different pylons on inboard stations one for rocketpods one for gunpods. Just to have a proper angle of fire with GP. It is not proper for real model but in my opinion best what can be done for SF engine. Rocket pods are ok with correct angle on inboard stations. Outboard TOW pylons. You can load 4 or 8 BGM-71 Missiles. Upper M65 launcher is made as StationGroupID=3 and lowwer M65 launcher is StationGroupID=4. Either you can load only on upper launcher or both lower and upper. Of course loading onl on lower without upper will look silly. But this is thirdwire game engine. We can't change it. Unfortunately in loadout menu option for 2 BGM-71 will appear. Well i don't know how to limit station to load only on weapon rack. Do not use it also. It doesn't look good. And missile has no launching tube. Guns are loaded as weaponstations so player got options. For updates visit on: strikechoppers.wordpress.com There is skin only for 11 ACR in Europe. Well Q was upgraded to S(MOD) quickly so not much info to find about Q in units. All serial numbers are proper for Q model but am not sure if these numbers appeared in 11th ACR. 15086 for sure was there. This pack contains already weapons folder. There you will find 2 new weapons and one weapon rack for this Q model Cobra. BGM-71A BGM-71B TOW launcher tubes. Also you have to download my WeaponPACK for AH-1G so this helo can work properly. Upgrade to Q. Technicaly it is still old G model with new features. So for now it will have still same as G issues with shadows in SF2. I have added new nose and TSU unit. Also helemt targeting system is visible in cockpit. No use for it. Unfortunately. The main difference is outboard pylons which can be now loaded with my BGM-71 TOWs. There is still option to load rocket pods or/and smoke dispenser on outboard stations. BGM-71 are made as EOGR weapons. This plus EO camera station on aircraft itself give us a little feel of targeting. Anyway this game engine is using very simple targeting system so in my opinion it is ok. TOWs are loaded in pairs in designated Tubes (in game it is weapon rack). You can load 2 or 4 on one pylon. Pylons are made as M65 launchers. So it is visible only with TOW tubes loaded (racks) Empty pylon. Here double version. Quad pylon with loaded launching tubes. Also one BGM-71 already fired. teaser: -

I made all Mk40 FFAR rockets with different look of warhead. Two versions low poly with colors in max and hi-detail with skins. But i just noticed that i did not pack hi-detailed versions. I will upload it little later in weapon pack update. I have redone all weapons - launchers M159,157,158,M200, and some navy LAUs. Gunpods M18 and navy SUU-11. XM118 smoke dispenser and also zuni LAU for future. Guns are loaded as weaponstations so player got options. ANIMATION 7 - turret doors ANIMATION 8 - ammo bay dooors ANIMATION 9 - gunner door (ext and cockpit view) ANIMATION 10 - pilot door (ext and cockpit view) For take off: Around 75% of throttle vector (small needle on RPM clock in cockpit should be like 65degree up) - (default ctrl + ) and then increase power to 70-85% (or more for quick lift) and pull controll stick little and snake will take off. Then reduce throttle vector as needed and reduce power to 69%. It should fly around 110kts now. 69% is good cruising speed. Use vector throttle to control speed. When on the ground you can see rotating blades for pitch and roll. Just additional and unnecesary thing (not visible so much when flying) but it is possible so it is there. Not working like i want but better then nothing. There are two different pylons on inboard stations one for rocketpods one for gunpods. Just to have a proper angle of fire with GP. It is not proper for real model but in my opinion best what can be done for SF engine. Rocket pods are ok with correct angle on inboard stations. I made all Mk40 FFAR rockets with different look of warhead. Two versions low poly with colors in max and hi-detail with skins. But i just noticed that i did not pack hi-detailed versions. I will upload it little later in weapon pack update. I have redone all weapons - launchers M159,157,158,M200, and some navy LAUs. Gunpods M18 and navy SUU-11. XM118 smoke dispenser and also zuni LAU for future. Guns are loaded as weaponstations so player got options. I dont know. For now on my pc it is flying like harrier. thrust control no flaps etc.Quite easy to fly, hover. If someone got ideas, I am open for it. Maybe someone wants to join in flightmodel modding. Anyway this game is always open for modding.and everyone can change for own purposes. All choppers i downloaded from combatace i always modded for my own use. For now there is also moves of blades during pitch and roll control. Not much seen during flight but just a bonus when parked. Lights operated as landing gear. And hook for switching pilot/gunner position in cockpit. I was thinking about switching on air-to-air / air-ground mode. But it doesnt work properly. Not transefring view forward and below. I didnt figure out why yet, so for now its tailhook mode but it is ok i think. Pilot cockpit is finished and uploaded pics of final version is in link above. Gunner cockpit is still on progress (75%). But texturing is untouched. -

Its been while since i started this. But I was busy last months. Much busy than i thought. Anyway. I made little progress. G model is ready as before with little fixing here and there. J model is also ready. After posting this in May i had some support from forum members thanks. And also some words from other forum. And NO i was never planing to use it with Kesselbrut cockpit. I can understand rules from other forums. No worries. Temporary i was using it for my testing.
