  1. Guys, after a couple of test missions i´m pretty sure it isn't a Missile Problem. Missiles works fine against other aircrafts . Than I ran some missions with other sovjet aircrafts most Migs against the Alpha and i'm sure that the hit Chance of any other aicraft Missile on the Alpha is way lower than on any other western Jet. Maybe it has something to do that the Alpha Jet is so small and the game engine don't recognice the contact?
  2. Ok, habe die jetzt in der Map. Danke dafür! Ein paar kleine Probleme habe ich noch. - Es sind keine geparkten Flugzeuge zu sehen - ein paar kleine Schilder, die Rotweißen Nummern stehen kreuz und quer auf der Wiese rum - Die Flakeinheiten sind alle geballt auf einem Haufen - Marxwalde wurde auf dem Acker eines Bauern errichtet, die grüne Wiese für den Flugplatz ist nebenan. Werde das mal mit dem Originalfluplatz vergleichen - und dieses Schattenproblem der Mauern auf Büchel und Pferdsfeld wäre sehr dankbar, wenn ihr mir noch bei den oben genannten Problemen helfen könnt!   3. Yes i know it wasn't a SideWinder but i'm not familar with all the cold war stuff yet. Run a similar Mission today this time with different Migs and saw again a couple of not exploding Missiles. 1 Alpha went down by gunfire another collided with a Mig and third was hit by a Missile. I attached the Mission if anyone will try it out. Used Autopilot (even with enemies nearby) next ALT-N and then told my Wingmen to attack AAs so they stay over the target somewhat longer and watched the Scene. Rends
  4. Ok, funktioniert denn der Mod mit den 10 Flughäfen auch für SF2 ? Ich glaube das ist das,was ich schonmal auf Screenshots gesehen habe. Baltic Entrance werde ich mir mal ansehen,danke für den Tip. Rends PS: wenns alles nix nützt muss ich wohl mein "Modding Hirn" anschmeißen. Hab früher mal mit Diego, da war er noch nicht Old, Terrains für Fighter Squadron gebastelt.

  6. Just watched an AI dogfight between a couple of SU-15 vs some Alpha Jets. It seems that most missiles missed the Alpha jet very very close if not fly through them. In every other AI dogfight i watched before i would have seen lot of hits but not here. Seems something wrong with the Alpha Jet or the SU-15 missiles? Rends
  7. Hallo, Ich habe leider immer noch nicht rausbekommen, wo die (fertigen?) Flughäfen für das Germany Terrain abgeblieben sind. Auf den Screenshots sahen sie schon toll aus! Kann man die von irgendjemanden bekommen? Danke und Frohe Weihnachten, Rends

  9. I hoped that the already made airfields were incorporated in Nato Fighters 5. But couldn't found them. So they are vanished?

  11. Well i have never seen Water towers ( correct term?) on german airfields but that doesn't mean that they really exsist esp. on US bases in germany. I for myself find them out of place in Germany. Maybe someone can sheed some lights here? Rends
  12. I know i know but a short tutorial in the manual would be have been better than a mini encyclopedia about radar. If you are somewhat new to the genre of post war aircrafts it is sometimes hard to understand.
  13. Ok, i'm one step further. Havn't flown the F-15 yet but F-14 in TWS Mode it's not enough to select the Target in Radar i also need to Acquire selected target. I've moved this function from the Keyboard button to one of my Joystick buttons. Makes life easier. "situational awareness" that's something i still try to learn. I will keep an eye on RWR and the red subtitles. Hope it helps. Oh yes i heard the beeping and constant tone before.......i got killed ;-) Thx for help guys! Rends
  14. I don't want to be cannonfodder anymore. My greatest succsess was surviving 4 campaign missions before i died. Well take off flying and even carrier landings arn't the problem. I got shoot down all the times. First i want to know something about the radio chatter. The subtitles are often in different color blue white yellow. How do i know if someone is crying "Missile inbound" that he talks to me and not to a different plane? I ran out of chaff and flares within a minute if i release them after each missile message. Next when and what. How do i know when to drop chaff and flares. The time between message and impact could be very high. I can't drop the stuff all the time or ran out of flares and chaff very soon. And how do i know what to drop? If i'm right i need chaff against heat seaking missiles and flares against radar guided ones. But the damn missile don't agree to tell me what kind of missile it is. Last thing i want to know is to shoot down the damn enemy. Ground missions are ok so far. I know how to use the Mavs or launch unguided rockets. I succsessfully dropped unguided bombs. I know how to release sidewinders but using Sparrows is a different thing. It doesn't seem to work every time. Once in TWS radar mode i can select a target and wait until IFF changed icons . I thought once it is known as enemy i can fire up the Sparrow but no go. Sometimes if i switch then to air to air radar mode (is this boresight) flying F14 i might be able to get the yellow diamond in the HUD and can launch the Sparrow. But i'm not sure if this procedure is right because it doesn't work very often and i click here and there in the hope to get yellow diamond. Any help? Rends

Tweaked it to match better with other radio transmissions.   16. I installed the german AA units Gepard and Roland. They looks great on the german terrain but also appear on Iceland. Is there a way to prevent this and made them Germany terrain only?

  20. While i have no idea to create missions nor campaigns yet i wonder if anyone is/will creating a Reforger campaign? Attacking/protect convoys...destroy damaged subs break through the blockade/establish a blockade... Just wonder... Rends
