Is it possible to convert existing SF series 2 Mods aircraft for use in SF 1 games, as I am not a SF 2 user, but I am impressed with several SF 2 add-on aircraft mods which I would like to have, but can't use. Any advice would help thanks.

SF2 to SF1
RUSTYMORLEY replied to RUSTYMORLEY's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Thanks to all of you for your replies, I had considered obtaining SF2 but I have found that it is only available as a download and not as a physical CD disc which I could purchase from somewhere like Amazon. Never mind I will stick with SF1 for now. Thanks anyway for the replies. -

Thanks for the reply Foxtrott So if this converter actually works, how do I use it once installed to convert SF2 files into SF1 format ????? -
R.I.P. Lemmy Kilmister, Motörhead frontman dead at 70
RUSTYMORLEY replied to Dave's topic in The Pub
I didn't know until recently that Lemmy was at one time the lead singer of the band Hawkwind, and he sang Silver Machine which made it into the British pop charts. Unfortunately he was ejected by the band after he had a couple of rows with the other band members. I was sad to hear of his death, but I am not suprised as he was a hard man, and drank and smoked a hell of a lot and your body just can't sustain that kind of abuse forever. RIP Lemmy. -
Merry Christmas Guys! Say safe & have a great one!

Have a look on YOU TUBE for SIGALA - EASY LOVE. I really don't know how those two young kids actually do what they do but boy have they got the moves, and they are full of energy.

This looks a cracking good film, full of intrigue and danger, and all set against the back-drop of the post WW2 Cold War. This looks like my kind of film. Thanks for posting the trailer MigBuster.

Not bad looking either, is she single ???

At least one good thing has come out of all this carnage - the world leaders are now willing to come together and work with each-other more to defeat a common foe. Even the Russians have said that the French are now to be considered allies in the fight against ISIS. We need more co-operation between member states and world leaders to defeat these merciless barbarians.

Like it.!!! How on earth did they get permission to film that on a carrier on combat duty.

Makes you wonder what the heck do the ISIS group want, total carnage and the fall of decency and humanity ????

I used to work in and around London a few years ago and I can tell you that London is very expensive - so take a bucket load of cash with you. Don't bother hiring a car as there is almost nowhere to park without paying a hefty charge and the traffic in central London is an absolute nightmare.

Oh yes one of the movie greats, she will be sadly missed. She was one of the few actresses who was a dedicated actress and saw her craft as a vocation and not just as a means to make a lot of cash, like a lot of movie stars today. I also had a soft spot for Lauren Bacall as well - smoldering looks and a match for any male movie star at the time.

Same as me but I never got a reply - nothing at all !!!!!

THANKS FOR THE INPUT B52STRATO, it's Mech Warrior for me !!!!

I have never played MECH COMMANDER or MECH WARRIOR - are they strategy based games or are they First Person Shooters ???? If so, is there a Playable PC demo out there so I could have a taste before buying????

I have to aggree that you are right, but as time goes by we learn by experience and perhaps in another 300 years or so we will either not be here or more importantly we will have learned to communicate with each-other properly and settle our differences through negotiation and dialogue. There is always hope. With every passing day the world is becoming much more interconnected, and as a result of this we are becoming more and more dependent on each-other for our survival. For an example - all of the nations on the world are threatened by the onset of climate change and the natural disasters which will inevitably occur if we do not tackle this issue as a whole, if the planet goes - we all go with it. There is no choice, either we all work together and get on-board with the solution or we all perish together.

If you have ever seen the movie Battle of Britain which was made in 1969 featuring a host of British screen stars, it very much stirs me to support the underdog and during the aerial battle sequences I find myself thinking - 'go on lads even though you're outnumbered 4 to 1 get up there take them on and give them a damn good kicking'...... PS. There's no escorts - help yourself everybody.....

I see what you mean. The picture tells it all. My shift manager and his superior - the Warehouse manager where I work are exactly the same. I have been hauled in front of them both and reprimanded a couple of times for suggesting a different way of doing things. They are very much old school attitude, completely blinkered and focused on only one thing - do as I say even if it's wrong or right.!!! The question is - if Hillary Clinton gets in, will she do any better than Trump.!!

I think that it is fair to say Snailman that you are passionate and idealogical about politics or shall we say - you have strong opinions about your country and the state of the world. And that is fine I respect that. Are you involved in politics at home.?
-
Okay fair comment Snailman, we will just have to wait and see if makes it to the Whitehouse first, then watch closely to see if he keeps his promises. Even though I can have no part in U.S. elections I am prepared to at least give the man a chance.
