The Buccaneer Mod is a very nice aircraft to fly - one of my favourites, looks graceful too

The best Universal Translator that could ever be devised would simply be - to teach everyone on the planet the same language. No need for Interpreters or a even a Universal Translator for that matter

JediMaster, I tend to agree with most of what you have said here. To sum this up you could say that the Chinese want more influence in their own back yard and less U.S. influence, but I don't think that this will be achieved by purely political means. There will inevitably be some kind of 'difficulties'.

Sorry if my opinion upset you, but it seems credible to ponder why the Chinese would be building up their armed forces if it was not to assert more influence in the Far-East, and have the necessary means to back up its intentions.

Slik airplane, probably a good match for a F-16 Falcon. The Chinese are really coming on strong. Perhaps some trouble brewing for the U.S. in a few years time, as China wants to assert it's influence to a greater degree in the Far East.

Will there be some Israeli skins with it as well?

I have been playing Strike Fighters - Wings over Europe for some time now about 4 - 5 years along with SF- Gold and SF - WoV. Although I initially found the sim to be a bit basic, I have now Modded my installation and added some new aircraft, Maps, some decent skins to replace the stock skins and a few ships. I am now happy with my set - up. Once again it is thanks to all the Modders and Simmers at this site and other SF related sites who regularly contribute to this game. I am very grateful for the continued contribution which these people make to enhance the whole Strike Fighters experience. I intend to be playing this game for at least next 4-5 years Cheers

I bet the top airforce brass wouldn't let me just jump into any old front line fighter airplane and have a good poke around at the instruments and switches Not fair

I am personally a big fan of IL-2, and it is getting better all the time with all the add-on aircraft that are being produced. I just wish I was clever enough to do that stuff

I recently tried installing some skins for the Hawker Sea Fury for SF.2 into a SF.1 Sea Fury Folder and they all worked fine. Is this normal - and do all SF.2 Skins work with SF.1 Aircraft?

I have never used a Weapon Editor before - am I to assume that it allows you to increase the amount of payload and expand the variety of weapons which each aircraft can carry ?

I am considering downloading the Mission Editor in the Utilities section, can I ask if any members have used this editor and have any of you experienced problems with it or alternatively is it worth installing

I am led to believe that the Hawker Sea Fury was in fact used by one or two Arab nations, can anyone offer more info on this - I would dearly love to get my hands on some Arab skins for this aircraft. Thanks in advance for any info on this

Thanks for the reply delray. I have found some skins for the Canadian, Australian, Dutch and British Navy, but not specifically for the ARAB Sea Fury. Anyone able to point me in the right direction

Is it possible to download a package to upgrade my Strike Fighters 1 installation to bring it up to Strike Fighters 2 standard, or at least make it able to accept and run Strike Fighters 2 aircraft add-ons ???
