Sci-Fi is my lot at the moment with regard to TV shows. Pick TV here in the UK is re-running all the Babylon 5 series, one of my favourite shows. Its great to see the main characters again and follow the story line.

Engine failure possibly or some other malfunction, but I guess pilot error cannot be ruled out either.!!

And if so can it be uploaded to the SF1 Downloads section for other SF1 users to have the enjoyment of, assuming of course that it is SF1 version compatible. Thanks in advance for anyone taking the time to upload the Orion to the SF1 section. -
The truth is out there...........on US Navy FLIR
RUSTYMORLEY replied to MigBuster's topic in The Pub
Thanks to all who posted on this topic, it's been an interesting matter to discuss. I think we have pretty much covered this subject, and I can see varying views and points have equal validation. So I think I will leave it there for 2017 and finish by saying Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all Combat Ace members old and new. All the best for 2018. Cheers RUSTYMORLEY- 20 replies

The truth is out there...........on US Navy FLIR
RUSTYMORLEY replied to MigBuster's topic in The Pub
Maybee you are right Erik, it might just come down to what you believe in.......... although I must say that all the reports which I have seen or heard of regarding Close Encounters with other beings have reported them as being bipedal creatures humanoid in appearance very much like our own physical form - as if they had been made from the same basic template with minor variations in height, skin colour, enlarged eyes and brain cavity size. Seems a bit strange, is this some kind of Divine Plan??????? Have we been purposely given an overall similar physical form so that one day in the future we will all be able to interact with each other. Oddly enough as the Vicar pointed out - the phrase ''The Divine Plan'' appears repeatedly in the Christian Bible. I just don't what to think......am I a complete nutter or is the Vicar a complete nutter...........- 20 replies

The truth is out there...........on US Navy FLIR
RUSTYMORLEY replied to MigBuster's topic in The Pub
I don't consider myself to be a religious nutcase at all, and I don't even go to church on Sundays either. But a couple of years ago I did once ask a Vicar at a wedding what he thought about other races living in the universe. We got into a bit of a debate about it. He said ''Everything which exists within the confines of our universe, with the exception of evil has been created by God and as such comes under the governance and authority of God. He created the human race in his own image, and if other civilizations and races exist out there in the cosmos, then he most certainly created them as well''. I was a little taken aback by his response, and I couldn't really argue with him. I spent the next couple of days trying to find a way to reconcile what he said, and to this day I can't really argue against his answer. What do you think, am I a crazy nutter or is the Vicar a crazy nutter.???- 20 replies

The truth is out there...........on US Navy FLIR
RUSTYMORLEY replied to MigBuster's topic in The Pub
Same thoughts for me. We must be way down the intelligence scale for any species which has the technology to visit other planets for them to have any interest in us. We are so dumb that we are hell bent on destroying our own planet and killing each other with weapons of increasing sophistication and destructive power, so why would they even want to come here and visit us just to get shot at.- 20 replies

The truth is out there...........on US Navy FLIR
RUSTYMORLEY replied to MigBuster's topic in The Pub
To be honest I have never considered the possibility that we are the only species living in the universe. There is way too much of a cover-up going on. If there was nothing to hide there would not need to be a consistent denial from major governments, -and individuals with stories to tell about abductions and close encounters would not be persistently told to shut-up and keep quiet about their experiences. I just can't see the problem, - if we are not alone in the universe and other species are visiting this planet and studying humankind with a view to first contact - then its okay with me. Just too many small minded people in government who can't see past their own noses...... And for that matter if there was nothing to investigate why would the US Air force have a separate department called Majestic which is dedicated to dealing with Extra-Terrestrial concerns / matters. ?????- 20 replies

Well however you manage to do it Geezer, I think we are all grateful for your efforts. Can't wait to try out your Pfalz DIII, one of my favourite WW1 aircraft. Thanks again Geezer, much appreciated.

Same goes for me. Frankly anything you seem to put your hand to comes out looking great Geezer. My thanks for your continued support and input to First Eagles. I said it before and I will say it again - you seem to be an aircraft production factory all by yourself.

My understanding is that the Israeli's were attacked from both the South and the North and were nearing defeat and had to consider using a tactical nuclear weapon or lose the fight for the survival of their nation. But eventually their ground forces managed to repulse both the Syrian attack in the Golan and the Egyptian thrust in the Sinai and the need for a tactical nuclear strike was averted. When you are faced with overwhelming odds and the possibility of being wiped off the map, how many of us would consider using the ultimate weapon against an aggressor and face The Sum of all Fears for real. ????

Maybee if we had a demo version of this game to play we could try it out on our systems to see if it will work okay and more to the point - if we liked the demo version we could buy the full game.

RUSTYMORLEY replied to RUSTYMORLEY's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Thank-you guys for the replies, I had a feeling that it was possible but now I can start to experiment and find the correct locations for the lights. Thanks to both of you for your advice. Cheers. RUSTY. -
NAV LIGHTS
RUSTYMORLEY posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - Mods/Skinning Discussion
Is it possible to add Navigation lights to a aircraft Mod which does not posess them, and if so how do I do it. Any help or advice much appreciated. Am running WOE patched to October 2008 and numerous aircraft Mods added. RUSTY -
I would like to add my own thanks to the above post regarding the new aircraft produced by Geezer. Your continued efforts and input are very much appreciated and admired. Many thanks for these new WW1 planes for First Eagles, I think we will all look forward to flying them. Cheers, RUSTY

If you are looking for a cheap reliable car with no frills and costs very little to run, I can recommend the SUZUKI ALTO (new shape). I can't believe how cheap it is to run, it's only got a 3 cylinder engine and is just shy of 1000 cc, and if you live in the UK you don't pay any Car Tax on it. I guess it depends what you are looking for. My friends laughed at me when I bought it, but they are paying a fortune in Car Insurance, Petrol and Car Tax in the UK for their vehicles.

I sent Stephen 1918 a personal message last year asking if he would consider making the streamlined Roland CII 'walfisch' and he got back to me saying it was on his list to do but he couldn't commit to a date because he was so busy with other requests and projects. I felt a bit guilty because I realized that I was adding to his workload and putting more pressure on him - and if he reads this post then I apologize for that. Maybee you Geezer could lighten his workload a little bit and help him out by taking it on.

Frigging Heck Geezer - you are like an Aircraft Production Factory all by yourself............ But I must say that these new aircraft will be most welcome. Thanks Geezer for these new machines, much appreciated. RUSTY

Thanks for that Geezer I really look forward to flying your wonderful Pfalz DIII she looks a real beauty. Cheers. RUSTY

Pfalz DIII Looks good - will it be for FE1 as well as FE2. ???

The Sum of all Fears was fantastic, so real and plausible. QUESTION. Did the Israeli's infact lose one of their A-4 Skyhawks which was carrying a Nuke. Maybee Nesher can answer that question. ???
-
HMMMMMMMMM, You could be right Nesher. Anti-Virus may be on the decline as opposed to other forms of protection as the threat to computers seems to be evolving into other more sophisticated forms of attack. But I will still keep mine for the time being.
