  4. aircraftshaders.ini in ObjectData001.cat, is listing one shader for canopy: [shaderList] CANOPYGLASS.TGA=MODELCANOPY.FX try adding entry for propdisc.tga and propdisc1.tga with the same shader as for canopy: [shaderList] CANOPYGLASS.TGA=MODELCANOPY.FX PROPDISC.TGA=MODELCANOPY.FX PROPDISC1.TGA=MODELCANOPY.FX I'm at work so can't verify this, but I think there were some similar issues with canopies in the past (after WOI release? mostly regarding shadows)
  5. Later Lightnings perhaps. Radar (and RWR, TV, FLIR/LLTV) can be in theory added to any cockpit not equipped with one by default, by sacrificing one gauge as planar mesh for radar screen, depends on general cockpit layout and gauges size (if you don't want to have clock-sized display)

And do you think repainted, recalibrated, Mystere pit could pass as poor man's Mig-15 replacement..? I've had that in my head since first time I ran Exp1

    Early soviet jet cockpit FOR STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 with Expansion Packs 2! YOU NEED EXPANSION PACK 2 TO USE THIS MODIFICATION! LOD file not included! by Stary version 0.5 working beta 07.12.2010 This is simple repaint of stock Hunter F.1 cockpit to make it stand-in for early soviet jets. Working beta, not historically accurate at the moment at all, bares minimal resemblance with Mig-9, Mig-13, Yak-15 or Yak-23 cockpits. Currently gauges are still in english (I know very, very little russian, curses mostly...) and still calibrated to knots/feet/gallon units. No gauges or parts movement tricks at the moment, just basic repaint.

  18. IIRC works in series 2 almost w/o problems, make sure you install Brain32's BRILLIANT tileset first. Also eburger68's Vietnam Air and Ground War expanison has all the updates needed, there's also nice tiles and trees adjustment in it I think (haven't been flying it in ages!) As for my Effects packs you really only need the last one, Hollywood Explosions (or wait for Hollywood Explosions 2), but there are many important effects in Gunny's WP too edit: removed duplicated post

File Name: Tracermania File Submitter: Stary File Submitted: 06 December 2010 File Category: SF2 Series Add On Objects Tracermania AAA Tracers and bullets modification FOR STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 Europe with Expansion pack 2 Made for and tested in SF2 all titl mergedwithes merged with Expansion Packs 1&2 by Stary version 1.0 06.12.2010 This little modification changes the number of tracers fired by all stock AAA units and patrol boats. Number of tracers has been increased 5 times, instead of every fifth bullet being tracer round now EVERY SINGLE bullet fired by Triple-A is tracer. Also I changed the data for stock partol boats, that makes these vessels track and attack air targets too. Second tweak is the increase of bullets fired in a burst by AAA crews, usually from 12 to 20 or 24. This seem to me does not make them more or less accurate. As these changes may increase CPU usage I eliminated ALL tracersmoke trails of any kind for any calibre guns (...) Click here to download this file

  21. yes AntEater, that's simple (but very smart idea ) effect by me with help of Epizikl that adds particle-based flat pilot on a chute as part of aircraftfireeffect.ini, released almost 2 years ago, with one update later, must be part of effectpack you have currently installed
