  4. Actually we can tweak sun color to give sort of correction the screen, I was doing some experiments waaay back, son't know if I still have my blueish environment backedup, will search. It was before WOI came out so pretty outdated

  10. that's being general problem with TK, you never know what he wants. Not allways doing what customers would expect... And I'm with you Julhelm, additional simple postprocess eyecandies would improve the look even further (yes, I love the vignetting)
  11. dsawan make sure you extract this to main mod folder, as it comes with terrains folder for ease of install

  15. seems my sudden performance drops (down to even 7 fps) were 3rd-party high poly aircraft model related
  16. I think we can ForceDX9= in options.ini (or somewhere else -haven't tried this one) to use DX9, but then we loose all the shaders... I really love WOP color correction and bloom, personally I don't think new(er) terrain engine TK's cooking will give us such eyecandy

    I used this program for long time, helped me create "new" cockpits from stock ones via ini modifications -really helps to find specific mesh name

  21. My First Combat Flght Simulator

    My mom took from school she was a teacher at then ZX Spectrum, I had it just for me for whole long weekend! I was 7: then my dad bought me C64, and times of ACE, ACE2: and Ace of Aces begun! They don't do such titles anymore, do they?
  22. So many valid point here. I wouldn't be here if not the moddability and the community -I had WoV on shelf for some four months, not touching it, until I discovered Column5's site and CombatAce. Then the craziness started Generally in flight sims the times are -if you don't make your sim moddable, you're lost. Must be the reason Oleg Maddox decided to open for modders slowly incoming (and finally taking shape) Storm of War. And closed Rise of Flight is loosing it big time for me. I perfectly understand that financial situation can prevent one from buying the titles, but we're talking 20$ per title here. Back on topic -frankly, I wouldn't expect ultra-fidelity breakthrough new features from Tomcat title regarding avionics or FM, but I know there will be many new little things under the hood. Like always. You know, it's TK. Not to mention new terrain engine, the weakest, stinking point of the series for years. You do remember how long we were flying without clouds? Until mega-update patch (and WoE) in 2006. That's four years for the veterans here.
