Dave, I have no idea what the differences between SF2 and SF2I executables are, but perhaps this way your son doesn't utilize some extra features included with SF2I that may lay behind the very low frametares on his laptop..? Just thinking out loud. I'll make myself merged install when I'll find the DVD with previous installs. And no, updating the DX and drivers didn't help much. Still stutters a lot. And no bloom type effects this time

Can someone confirm this one: No blackout/redout when using AdvancedShaders? Also something's very, very wrong with the new bloom-style shaders on my install: (sorry for large sequence, smaller wouldn't be visible) I suppose this is supposed to be reflections (?) from distanct tanks, but as you can see in my case it's broken. Swithing very quickly when panning view. No it's not explosions, this is T-54 platoon in the distance. No action in the perimeter. Stuttering is literally killing me goes from 12 to 53 fps five times a second.

Greyed out too. They were blown by wind, effect dependant. As for the new glow effect, I saw it two times, but I have this little effect bug too: I STILL (first time in SF2:V) have the strange stutter using Advanced Shaders, which makes it not so playable

Panama, Indeed, even some of the SimHQ formerly very enthusiastic members are turning away from ROF. I think it's the unfinished release mixed with Neoqb completely not understanding of the simmers expectations that will sadly cause ROF to fall in few months. I run this sim once a while, and such wish them success in providing us with polished finished top quality product, but they're doing everything to prevent it. The updates (BTW I hate forced updates, bad memories from Red Orchestra and Steam) are revolving around new planes only. There was no single update to the core. No reqested MP fixes, not a single SP fix, none. And as more and more former ROF enthusiasts declare they won't buy any new planes anymore, Neoqb may end up simply not having founds for critical service patches.

There's new update for ROF. Adding Sop. Dolphin and Pfalz D.XII (both ugly and tough) aswell as few fixes. Nothing really new in this forced 200mb+ update, the only thing I noticed is the framerates went up a little bit on my system.

I don't give a s**t if Ridley's directing. No way! See, seeing Alien for the very first time changed me, and the way I look at world. Changed me for bad perhaps. It was Ripley, Ash, Lambert, the story, that made me thinking about morality, the importance of choices, the sacrifice, the pain. I was ten years old. Alien was pure mindf**k for me. Next day I spend all of my time in school drawing in my book what I saw on that VHS. Ten years later I was buying every Giger's albums I could find, mature enough to understand the sexual overtones, the design of alien, what happened to Lambert after Parker's death. Alien, the first movie, before Cameron, Dark Horse and s**tty Amalgamated Inc., is something that cannot be rebooted. Post Scriptum: Stay away from "Edge of Darkness" Mel.

Missing the Pfalz DIII and DH-4, that's all

I'm pretty sure that's what takes TW so much time; which may also suggest some new little enhancements, as usual Also I noticed the bloom on the images seem to be effect-related (new shaders), not simple full screen as in ENBseries most used to by now, which would be welcome feature too edit: I may be wrong, looks like it's whole screen bloom effect

IMUHO it's Camel also try Spad with 37mm cannon if you have sharp eye and nerves of steel (the latter work better deployed against Gothas than Albs ya know )

Quack74, is this skin or full aircraft? I don't have Pfalz DIII (crate), the only one I know of is by A-Team, which is a NOGO for me
