Interesting, as the amount of objects or texture size haven't changed from Brain32's set with my objects Similar to 4seasons on default detailmeshsize=6 (this being 40-45) at higher range defaultmeshsize=10 I'm having typically ~20-25, higher (~40) when zooming in on my HUD. All with useadvancedshaders=0 My specs: C2D 8200 @2,66, 4GB @800, GF8800GT 512, W7RC
  3. These were taken with Detailmeshsize=9 as opposed to default 6 (6 is unlimited settings), also with tweaked GermanyCE_data.ini I'm waiting for fully working advancedshaders, then the TOD rendering range could go up to 11, 12 maybe, without framerate sacrifice

  6. I never had Vista, didn't care about, too big XP fan. Now since HDD crash I'm all Seven, build 7100 -no problems, all works fine, (few and older) games running w/o problems. New system was another reason I abandoned "old" series and moved to nextgen only.

  14. I'm pretty sure TK will fully incorporate them at some point. Not that I'd love to have them now, but the whole nextgen series concept IS about Vista/Se7en after all
  15. If I understand the rules, to put it simple: when IRM locks on flare (bigger heat signature), flies to it rather than evasive plane and boom, right? Could this be possibly modelled in TW sims? I'm not Weapons/Editor expert, so please do I thing wrong, or there's something wrong here? Right now my IRM's fly straight after loosing a lock, to selfdetonate later, depending on type fired. Same with enemy ones, I think both on medium and hard weapon modelling settings. Stock SF2E if that matters.

  17. I knew it's just my ignorance FC. Thanks for info. My missiles still seem to just stop tracking, without turning for CM. I think in Janes' ATF the IRMs were heading for flares instead, but it was loong time ago
  18. I remember playing the early phase months ago, looked promising. In this video, I like the higher POV when carrier landing. And the floating t-box on HUD looks very nicely done, if you know what I mean. In most sims it's perfectly placed on targeted plane.
