  1. Time for an upgrade...

More ram. 3 GB at least. I have 4GB, 3,25 seen by my XP (Thank you M$!). Good investment for future upgrades. I have same card, no problems so far, running recent titles like Warhead/Far Cry 2/Dead Space at maximum (DX9 mode), good choice
  2. THEY'REEEEEEE BAAACCCKKKKK

Ops! I think they came back here with me
  3. Několik otázek od začátečníka

Kukulino my friend!!! it is I, without CA, who feels incomplete  //topic hijack off @Honza: It's basically repaint, right? because I see the TOD's haven't been updated -they're from february? I'm at work right now, don't have WoE installed here Anyway looks good
  4. Několik otázek od začátečníka

Hi guys! I'm back finally! I'm still working on mine Blackbird :-) Few more city tiles and buildng graphics to be made... @Honzo: Looks very nice, I was going to update the graphics, you saved me some work, thank you! Off to download and test!
  5. Just to inform any of you willing to contact me, I won't be around for several weeks. Real life seriously needs all of my attention now. My studies (faculty of architecture&urbanism, if you ask) finally comes to an end, so I have to put all my spare time and skills to do all required work to finish the tasks & exams ahead of me. There's also that little cute princess in another castle, waving her white flag, so I have to take care of her too. In fact I haven't launched any of the sims in almost three weeks now. Shame on me. @ Brain32, Wrench, The: Go on with the Korea terrain, I'd be happy to see the final version released. My treemod ain't perfect, but fits ok IMUHO. Of course I'll be back in about 8 weeks from now on. Cheers, Stary (any lack of sense or typos caused by hangover)
  6. File Name: P-26A Peashooter cockpit File Submitter: CA_Stary File Submitted: 7 Sep 2008 File Category: Prop and Helo Cockpits P-26A Peashooter cockpit Read the readme for installation and additional info. Rivet counters please note it isn't 100% accurate, as I couldn't find good sources. Also it's my first 3D cockpit, I'm not experienced in this field of modding Click here to download this file
  7. And they follow you closely. Even in tight turn. AI keeps formations nicely. In the past fast-turning 90 deg to the side resulted in whole flight scattred all over the sky.
  8. Starfighter2, to be honest, it isn't first pit I worked on*, but the only one that I finished and made it working *remember that Viggen AJ fiasco...?
  9. More Bf* -109's... Yes... *As you may already know, Bf stands for "Beautiful fighter". Love it!
  10. Wrench, I know, you were waiting for one. Please note it's somewhat "what-if", my approach as I had only two photos and one extremely low-resolution cross-section to work with. Much of a guess work.
  11. Happy Birthday Wpnssgt

    Happy Birthday Wpnssgt!
  12. I don't think so. Someone would already report it as broken. And I had no problem with downloading it. Maybe try using some download manager like Getright
  13. Another new features I noticed are fuel leaks and structural limits. I was flying my trusty P-26A against bunch of Zekes, I scored few hits on one's wings... He started to loose fuel from his FTs: I was observing him from slightly above. After several seconds one of the fuel tanks either run out of gas or self-healed: Then the other wing stopped bleeding and his prop windmilled. Pretty! As for the structural limits take your plane high, dive to gain speed, pull hard on the stick. Wings off in my case... This patch is soo cool!

  15. Wrench, what tileset is that? Looks nice.
  16. P-26A cockpit

    From the album My work

  17. Like Lazboy and Nicky I'm for the modern day conflict scenario. A rare opportunity to fly in Polish Air Force as the good guy
  18. Getting lost? There's that tiny "search" button below CombatAce banner. And you know what? IT WORKS! ... and one can change number of post displayed on the forum to his liking. Anyway, here's the original Green Hell topic: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=26122 Check page 3, Wilco made changes to vietnamsea_data.ini necessary to run GH in YAP terrain. As YAP Team's files policy doesn't allow to publish modified data and ini files, try contacting Wilco, he may help you.
  19. Geez look at the models and textures!
  20. I had this prob saveral times on various aircrafts not only in WOI (April) but "older" sims too. I think it's more flightengine drawlimits related(?) @TAZ: on any kind of mission or only specific ones?
  21. If it brings SFP1 to WOI August patch level, now that would be great enhancement.
  22. I find personally flying and fighting props much better now in WOI with this patch than in standard SFP1/WOE/WOV install. Remember to do standard open-save dance on weaponsdata.ini included with Spanish Civil War in WOI version of weapons editor, not doing so results in no iron. Another thing I noticed is that patch improves a lot terrain following by AI, essential in rough Spanish terrain. Nice and realistic IMO is to watch enemy planes suffering fatal spins sometimes And is it just me, or the bullet efficiency has been reduced? Not sure about this, might be the new SCW gundata.
