  1. After 5 years struggle with PIV 2,4 GHz month ago I switched to E8200 rated 2,67 GHz, to be overclocked. And GF8800 GT 512 MB, contrary to GF6600 GT 256. And 4 GB ram opposed to previously now-tiny 1 GB. Good old rig short-circuited on motherboard, forced me to make good investment. And for a month or so I was in graphics&performance gallore. Crysis, Gothic 3, Two Worlds. I felt like a kid. It was quite hard to return here. Not that SF series have poor graphics... But trees won't break when shot... Ok, enough of this

  4. And two more, working on trees textures, these were taken in WoI, which has updated alpha channel rendering system, eliminating the tod vs. canopy render bug : I know, bloom is too extensive, playing with settings And now excuse me, have something to develop
  5. Hi Baltika, Thanks for extensive reply. Will check the missioncontrol.ini As for the diving bombers, it's not that bad -chasing them down is quite fun actually. I think this has something to do with the sim damage ratings -when you kill the crew, or they bail, but no "visible" damage is inflicted, like plumes of smoke etc. Could be an AI mismatch. Don't worry about the tiles work, I gave up after few tests, but I'm no way the texture artist, try PMing Brain32, he's very skilled at making tiles seamless.. Looking forward to Iceland 2015, and Eastern Front cheers mate

  8. Hello chaps, Haven't been posting here a long time, sorry. Here is my small contribution as reward. I have new aircraft fire effect for you here, if you're still using my WW2effects pack you know how happyly exaggerated it is. So doing some other particles work, I made new tuned down, nicer version that IMUHO look better: I hope one could have some use of it... Anyway, as usual few questions regarding v0.6 -are 20 angels high Pencil raids ok? Cause I think they were flying lower before. But it can be my memory fooling with me -yuck, I can do whole ten yards into Heinkels, and they sometimes are still flying without rudder, flaps, gear, you name it, it's missing (hard settings) -I shoot the raid leader, whole formation dived after him 10000 lower until he crashed, then they leveled down low -and last but not least -Baltika, how's your view on the incoming patches / WOI-level upgrade? (I know the last one requires lots of ini and FM tweaks, but WOI AI is plain cool) Cheers for now Stary

I want them to blend better with the terrain textures in the distance. And the napalm is a sketch from Enchanced Explosions 2 update (using HDR plugin, DetailMeshDistance=14): Usual ETA of 2 weeks.

  18. Renaming ALL the files from one tileset to match the layout in another would do the trick. Not an easy 5 minutes thing to do... Plus you'll have to have reference (the texturelist)

  20. You can try to use it in maps that were created using the VietnamSEA tileset, the ones I remember being Burma, China and Korea terrains. Burma and China are available at www-dot-avsim-dot-com, free membership required for downloading things, Korea should be here at CombatAce.
  21. In "default" NATO 2 install I am using currently Max188's ones +farms&forests +runway mod Brain32's tiles fits IMHO better in Formosa and recent beta of Baltika's Iceland 2015, until new tiles comes out for the last one.
