  1. EDIT: This topic should go to general discussion section, my mistake, sorry Hi! After releasing "Enhanced explosions" I started reworking stuff on my HD to create more realistic, guncamera alike effects. This will cover most of effects from gun muzzle flashes through various bombs and rocket effects, water splashes, tracers to tank gun fires and ground hits etc. Also will include updated guns_fx released few months ago. My aim is to create realisticly looking effects this time, and give them that old feel. Screens below are early development WIPs, created in Battle of Britain and Burning Sands'1944 by Baltika: 250 lb bombs on RAF field 20mm cannons will do it Big bada boom Boston ruins the day New smoke And smoke tracers aswell "Hilfe!" Some night fights Wake up call Overall status is about 30% complete. Release date yet unknown Hope you'll like them Cheers

Good to hear they do work -and thank you for being beta tester Any screenshot possibility? I uploaded version with new file structure, so anybody can pick up the kind of effects he/she wants before messing up Effects folder. Also included previously missing credits for Deuces .   6. Saganuay You want to completely get rid of new tracers? The best way is to remove "tracersmokeemitter.ini", "Tracer20MMEmitter.ini" and "Tracer23MMEmitter.ini" from Effects folder. Then you should open bulletobject.ini in Objects folder and for every gun from 20mm up change like in example: [20mmEffects] TracerEmitterName=TracerXXEmitter to TracerEmitterName=TracerSmokeEmitter

  8. Glad to hear this, keith! As I stated these are 0.9 beta. There are few things missing like realistic (that means reduced or none) muzzle flashes and bomb hit explosions. An aircraft explosions -I want to do this later. Cheers
  9. Hi Saganuay! Surely. If you want get rid of them, simply remove or replace these files: LargeBombEffect.ini MediumBombEffect.ini SmallBombEffect.ini VeryLargeBombEffect.ini All files of course in Effects folder

  14. As for Lexx Luthor's effects they are available here at Combat Ace in the weapons mods/skins section for quite a long time now. And yes, they look definitely great. The only hard thing I remember was the installation process, which was a bit troublemaking but i may be wrong at this. Highly recomended anyway.     I got my copy in early January. Played for two weeks, mostly online. Now she's resting on shelf awaiting some serious patches and new system. I'm going to give her another chance in future. But rather a dissapointment from a CWC vet&lover point of view.
  16. HI! Yes I got most of the ships from here, I was wondering if Baltika gonna add nodes for some cruisers/battleships to BS. I'm not good at campaign editing (frankly haven't looked into *.inis) As for italian WW2 ships by Hinch there are Caesar and Cavour IIRC avaible here at CA, athrough they are not updated to SP4 I think

  18. That's a bunch of crafts out there! Really impresive. No rush on release date, mate. You say no Seafires in incoming release, fine, but it indicates that next version will include some carrier ops (and even CAT launches)? Ah yeah one suggestion -more historic ships, can we have those? And maybe earlier Bf-110's But it's up to you. Cheers CA_Stary

  20. Saganuay82 which one? Aircraft fire? Working on it. But like bombs it's the hardest one to develop satisfacting results. Final release will probably include few versions to pick out.
  21. A little progress regarding water emitters, an area which I guess hasn't been bothered by anyone until now. As always wips, bomb underwater detonations lacks shockwaves and needs tuning but the cannon water hit is near finish and framerate friendly : Gonna post a "little" more next weekend

  23. Thanks guys for a warm response. This is what makes this community great place 2 stay around. FalconCAF -I don't have FE but this package "should" work with FE. If you're using my previous fx in FE -then no problem, v.high possibility it will work.   24. It depends. Flying campaign -on runway, for immersion and complexity. Sometimes I do warp (when it's WW2 stuff). Testing new addons or doing my own experiments or effects -a lot of single missions, both random or my creations.
