  2. guys it really is simple. -We want better SF2 experience, not dwelling into various aspects, be it gameplay, avionics, procedures, visuals etc. -TK clearly lost interest in PC crowd, at least he shows no singns of it -no exp3 wips, no wips at all, except from AI packs (which seems now like selling of spare assets) minimal DLCs Those two contradict each other. SF and SF2 were build with modding in mind, without old timers around here the series would die after WoV I bet. BUT said 3rd party creators invested too much of their money and free time to now be left alone, so no one should be otraged seeing as we start to searching either for alternatives (good luck with DCS... as much as I adore it's execution I find it hard to believe it will become the-sim-to-rule-them-all) or by, well, hacking the material we're given. And by hacking I mean what Jules says, using sorts of wrappers and "code discoveries" to improve the experience. Old timers, remember EAW? Good memories? Remeber what was the first non flyable turned flyable? And how you did it by HEXing one line in the code? Was it worth? Because to me it totally was.
  3. yes FC because SF2 series is all over the internet and shareholders ear tryllions in stocks on it of course I understand your point but day will come we'll be left without support, heck SF1 is now apparently no longer supported

  11. over the brilliant map that gillg's Sweden is, with TSF 2.0 updated tileset depicted 512x512 version that will be included in TSF 2.0, 1024x1024 might be available separately as optional download

  13. good, than seems the lines are 200 km apart, indeed not an issue
  14. what size is it? Good old Hainan looks oddly small, as in: if the scale of the map is standard 100 km then the island is about half of that noth-south while in reality it's circa 210-220 km as uncle Google Earth says or you did some terrain tricks didn't you?
  15. be adviced, the terrain shown in the trailer is pre-update older one so does not represent the final visual quality

What JRL says, it's the LOD-type terrain which is to be honest completely empty, and given our lack of knowledge regarding the entries NA brought I sort of made it in the dark by trails&errors So if you have weak graphics card there sadly isn't much that can be done except, there was epty terrain by I can't say for sure whom (NeverEnought?) for series1 that in theory could work the similar way albeit would require some additional tweaks to be fully useable in NA level
  17. might be you overall graphics quality dependant like terrain detail, view distance and objects quality, IIRC engine scales the values according to these

  20. strange, utmost strange as some of my hangars repaints work like a charm when tossed in Vietnam, heck Green Hell 3.5 uses those without problem, textures alone without lods
  21. yeah! That's the good work guys! I hope my updated tileset will be compatible with the objects layout
  22. contrary to what 97 percent of video games teached us... one needs that bloody medkit, easier to get to that way
