  1. I have no idea, these packs (I'll install them today, finally!) together with the May patch are better than the complete silence we had for good few months earlier (2 DLCs aside)
  2. IDK, I wouldn't give up on TK's plans this quick
  3. File Name: Il-28 Beagle cockpit File Submitter: Stary File Submitted: 01 June 2013 File Category: Jet Cockpits IL-28 Beagle cockpit v1.0 by Stary 30.05.2013 This is cockpit for soviet Il-28 jet bomber. Comes with build-in experimental, yet working and accurate bombsight. An evolution of idea I had back in 2008 or so... The bombsight switches on automatically when you select air to ground ordnances (including guns). Selecting caged mode switches you back to pilot's seat. Minor changes to data.ini to make guns separate for the ammo counters to work etc. Made and tested in Jul12 full-merged installation, so it's preferable setup. Anyway you'll need stock Il-28 Beagle for this (but can be used with other planes, as fits you taste) Has NOT been tested in latest May13 install, you have been warned. Should work ok though Credits: TK,Thirdwire for keeping the PC series still alive CombatAce community for being great bunch of people Installation: Unpack to your stock IL-28 folder, overwrite. Legal info etc: CA Freeware License apply. Feel free to tweak/repaint/re-release in other mods, just give me credits. Not to be used in any sort of payware. 4. yeah plenty of those planes in DCS, right Dave..? don't blame us! Blame communism! edit: freudian slip..?
  5. I TOTALLY forgot we have "stand-in" Su-7 cockpit by Boopidoo which was made from his Flagon one for Kokolino
  6. nothing wrong with those kinds of DLC if you ask me... certainly better than some of the previous that looked like 10 min notepad and gimp jobs (no offense...) I'd say we'll see more, with some (popular?) of the mobile versions planes coming to the series, it's easy as I think the mobile versions planes are already downgraded from higher quality (PC ready so to say) models of them
  7. send me those Kev (yeah, just pile up the work...)
  8. right now it's La-15 wip, but I think I can make a make-believe Fishpot out of it we NEED proper late Spits cockpit! Say, IXe for starters
  9. ohh man ohh man! What a suprise, Su-9!
  10. I thought you were talking about that very one Centurion, so I misunderstood you then. Isn't that a scale for AoA..? "Wires" that you ask about -canopy heating..? Your attached pictures don't open at this place for me is high res so hard to tell, sorry for that
  11. Sorry Dave, I wasn't aware of that
  12. I think Yak-17 cockpit could fit it well

  15. DCS World 31 May 2013 News Update

our Volker does better ok, these are nice
  16. looks more like Termit or the like with pilot's compartment cut in.. me likes!
  17. don't forget my tweaked teralphaobject.fx shader that increases the fading distance, I posted it in some of my tile/treemods and in a thread about it few months ago!!!that one requires objectsfade=false in options ini and increased detailmeshsize=
  18. I think Gunrunner hit the nail on the head with the search engine's limitations, that alone would be of great help
  19. mf1ig1

    simply great!
  20. Dave stated once loong time ago it's really PITA to do so, but if we'll behave gently, the powers that be might reconsider this I hope

This pack contains 8 "generic" World War 2 era cockpits for use in WW2 installs. Tested in Series2 ONLY, no idea about Gen1 compatibility!!! You have been warned!!! Info: "Generic" means these cockpits are somewhat similar to various real life ones, and are meant as replacement ones for aircrafts that by default have no custom, specific cockpits of their own. Rivet counters and/or WW2 experts please note that thesse cockpits do NOT represent any specific real-life models/variants, so if you seek for ultimate realism in modelling this pack is NOT for you. These cockpits are as follows, with the planes I use them as a guide: EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_1 -for MartletII, Martlet III EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_2 -for Macchi202 and other, italian gauges EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_3 -british fighters EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_4 -FiatG50, open cockpit with italian gauges MID_WW2_COCKPIT2 -generic, light fighter MID_WW2_COCKPIT3 -P-39D, maaaybe some soviet fighter..? Late_WW2_COCKPIT1 -P-47D, heavy ground attack aircraft, single engine bombers LATE_WW2_COCKPIT2 -like above but with bubble canopy, for late models of Jug, other heavy fighters
