  1. told you at the very beginning... you could saved yourself the training gun hasstle edit: ok, now as I re-read; have you considered making specific set of bunker concrete-finished planes for yourself? then live ammo with real ballistics could be used
  2. I think the weight influences the drop quite in a funny way?
  3. I think it's really simple to do rename your mod folder (for example it's "Korea") to "xKorea" or "_Korea" or "NotPronHere" etc apply patch/whatever run your mod executable (in this case Korea.exe) and exit delete the newly created Korea folder rename xKorea/whatever folder back to Korea and voila! In this case any added DLC won't work most propably but you don't want that A-7P or Lion in Korea install after all
  4. is training rounds class supported by weapons editor? I don't think so, so it's down to harmless projectiles
  5. funny thing is it's one of the more playable DLCs
  6. thy'll run I think, my reasoning was that making both opponents and self fully armored to a point of being virtuall immune to bullets (think of stock hangars etc) one can still experience full dogfights with seeing effects of good lead solutions (hit puffs) without bringing down the enemies, and having to deal with his own nerves when opponents make it to his tail, more adrenaline that way. Yeah, RF as in Red Flag. other than that is fiddling with the selected planes _data.inis and making adjustments to components, I think these would be of interest: DetachWhenDestroyed= DamageRating= but I'm not an ini guy
  7. Or mere two, three parts for tanks. Chasis, turret, barrel, that' all required most times
  8. Daddy, for JASDF we have for example Kuriles map, for Swedish AF great Baltic states one, all in glorious new detailed, features-rich terrain engine, avilable $10-$15 per map from Thirdwire store! Ohh wait... we don't and I'm daydreaming how to ru(i)n a good franchise again, I was just pointing that out as a interesting fact, that's all
  9. great start Gerwin! for names I'm not sure but better use format like "toolbox1_2" instead of "toolbox1:2", I think it might be leftover from CAD application you used as for the windows it's more tricky for beginners -you need another material for glass that uses Targa file with alpha channel for defining transparency level (more black=more transparent) and set this material properly in Material Editor in Max, this isn't that hard seeing the model already ingame I think the whole "proper orientation of axes" etc isn't a mistery then there's building the hierarchy and linking of the parts of the model (if needed) BUT given ground mobiles in TW games are really REALLY simple logics-wise, it's not that important -we don't even have rotationg wheels after all of course that requires modelling the simplistic interrior of the 977 cabin again, good start!
  10. my bad, forgot about that some might not have access to DAT planes, sorry!
  11. FW-190, in at least two model variants, A and D as for PTO, have you guys seen recent DAT models? Those are very tasty and well made
  12. Have you considered making a copy of plannes you want to use as Agressors and one you'd like to fly in and giving them bunker-value armor? By the way you just might have give us idea for a nice RF mod
  13. Heck, simple process of removing the stock planes from the Aircraft folder will cure the 12-years old syndrome. Rest was covered by FC above
  14. wasn't the Edward's stuff taken with him years ago..? Or with DAT guys?
  15. Black Widows over Europe (very what-if)
  16. Lovely! Ed, check your mail, have something nice for one of your planes
  17. you are master modeller Volker, you know?! Great pack, off to test it
  18. I don't even try to read too much into it (why bother, we know where the series shines) just pointed that as interesting JM
  19. thanks Jules, you're better than IMDB
  20. Sebastian, I remeber something like that but shoot me if I remember the title... it was soo long ago (late 80s? early 90s?) I wasn't then aware of the plane type it featured
  21. anyone noticed this DLC airframe is from beyond the established timeframe..? I wouldn't jump with any conclusions, just pointing that out.
  22. BOF

taht would place it more in late 2007-tish, I have vague memory of some discussion but can't say for certain... DAT is doing some great PTO models these months, so I'd expect Pacific to be the next mod from the A-Team guys
  23. Centurion I have that sneaky uncomfortable feeling... after all my TW-related rant in recent times, I might have to bite myself in my filthy tongue in the (hope near) future...
