  5. Ok, ok, I know there's pointer to helicopterobject.ini still present yet the only chopter I've seen so far is static on NA carriers, but he promised Exp3 and I see no reason to not believe the man in this regard. Happily we have quite stable release to enjoy meanwhile.
  6. then why for example MIG-15 uses both types at once? or is it set as same group in ini? Both 23 and 37 mm guns? I usually set myself such as individual groups, but haven't paid attention to how AI then uses them
  7. nothing to worry IMO, Thirdwire being busy with mobile apps at the moment. Exp3=FALSE has been in the version.ini for long time, that's a good sign
  8. right, that would make them replaced with other randomly, so yes, might be a card issue

  13. you can if you make proper collision LOD but I'll repeat the game AI would most propably fly right into the tunnel object, not even knowing it's there

    How does Vogesen terrain works in WOE? IIRC you did it with 500 meters tiles size, right?
  15. as I had to reinstall my SF2 series as my motherboard fried* I'm now on December 2010-c patch level, and I must say we miss alot since TK moved the clouds to new unrealistic levels anyway, hunting Beagles *fried motherboard finally forced me to switch to 64 bit 7. And add 4 GB of faster ram to the system. Talk about glass half full

Orsin I'm sorry but everything so far says we won't, at least in forseeable future (but with TK you never know) I wish we had some sort of documentation, back in the testing stuff days I was only able to 1)create mesh in Max from heightmap 2)texture it 3)split into several pieces 4)import these into game and setup to show but there were HUGE errors like bad rendering of faces (wrong normals showing through hills etc) terrible I mean terrible errors with the clipping near the "shores" regions and above all errors with terrain collision detections, some parts of the mesh, you could happily fly through so given the lack of documentation and I think not so much interest from other modders in the area I decided to switch back to improving existing old format terrains
  19. oh no, not impying a thing Orsin, it's just really difficult to create new terrain in NA format that would actually work (my tests worked with tremendous amount of issues!) and I think it's simply more reasonable to stick with old format using Terrain Editor
  20. Dude, WHOLE NA terrain cat has been already extracted long time ago, trust me nothing interesting in there
