It turns out that the topic of streamers has already been discussed here (more than 10 years ago). And, apparently, this was also unsuccessful...

Note: This French-made Nieuport-23 (S.No. 3598) belonged to Boris "Bob" Guber, the unit commander of the 19th Сorps Aviation Squadron (19-й KAO), which was part of the 1st Combat Aviation Group (1-я БАГ) of the Imperial Russian Air Service. This plane did not have the number "3" on board! Here is a more correct reconstruction:

Thank you sir! This is a photo of the Nieuport-17 Replica. This aircraft was restored to the 100th anniversary of the Russian Air Force in 2012. http://vikond65.livejournal.com/2605.html

No problem. Just rename the wwiPilotNew2.LOD to wwiPilotNew9.LOD (for example) : wwiPilotNew9.rar And make changes to the BE-2C_DATA.ini file (under the "Crew" section of the data ini). These minor tweaks for pilot seating position are suitable for all types of Be2 aircraft: : // Crew ----------------------- [Pilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT PilotModelName=wwiPilotNew9 SeatID=1 SetCockpitPosition=TRUE Position=0.0000,-0.8859,0.9008 MinExtentPosition=-0.25,-0.6, 0.3 MaxExtentPosition= 0.25,-1.0,1.4 CanopyNodeName=Seat_F

Excuse me, but... is this the final version of the Nieuport's tail section? As you know (of course, you know!), the elevator control wires were located the same way as in this photo. Can this be implemented on your beautiful model?

When, Lord? When? When's gonna be this time?

You need to fix the HUDDATA.INI file: [InfoDisplay] BackgroundImage=TextBackground.tga BottomLeftPosition=0.01,0.985 BottomRightPosition=0.99,0.985 DisplayWidth=0.20 VerticalBorder=0.0015 HorizontalBorder=0.008 EnemyTargetColor=1.0,0.0,0.0,1.0 FriendlyTargetColor=0.0,0.0,1.0,1.0 UnknownTargetColor=1.0,1.0,0.0,1.0 WaypointColor=1.0,1.0,1.0,1.0 TextFile=HUDText.str NormalColor=1.0,1.0,1.0,1.0 WarningColor1=1.0,1.0,0.0,1.0 WarningColor2=1.0,0.0,0.0,1.0 AGLAltStart=609.6 AGLAltWarning=152.4 EnglishUnitUseMPH=TRUE

A good shot! Something similar was described by von Richthofen in his book :

Yes, that's right. I'm sorry. I have long downloaded and installed your DH.4. At that time I had access to the A-team site, but I consider that your plane is better. Probably, Here I meant a DH.9 or something like that...

I suppose, with a little help from SFP1 extract utility?
-
And a new Caproni Ca.3! And some others - such as Avro 504, DeHavilland D.H.4 or Ansaldo S.V.A. 5. They are better than those already available for the game!

Problems with the smoothness of graphics
Crawford replied to JacksonM's topic in Thirdwire - First Eagles 1&2
You're using a 64-bit version of the Windows 10. It's no wonder that FE feels unwell with this OS... -
P.S. As you can see, there is no need to make black'n'white bands on the top and bottom of the Loading screen. However, this is the matter of your own taste and desire, of course.
-
In the upper right corner you can see a white background. In the rest, I think, everything is fine. Do you like stylization as an "old movie"? You caught a good camera angle, but, IMHO, the screen looks a bit dark (against the background of the ground). And it is desirable to make the main airplane larger. By the way, drop this file into your "Flight" folder. Loading immediately will be more fun. Turn your volume UP! Enjoy... and not lose your hearing at the same time. loading.WAV

Accept my friendly congratulations!

This folder is called "WW1" instead of "First Eagles" because the official Russian localizers renamed the game to "Eagles of the First World War" and changed something in the folder structure. JacksonM installed the game from this CD (pictured). It is said this version does not lend itself to modifications.
-
Honestly, I don't know how it looks for FE2 and Windows 10 ... But in 1st Gens, the main 'Third Wire' folder is moderated, isn't it? Am I wrong?
-
Try using the extractor to extract the marked files from your 'ObjectData' catalogue. Create a folder 'cockpit' and move there all the received files (they appear in the 'Objects' folder of the game). Then move this "cockpit" folder to the DFWC5 folder. Maybe your FE doesn't like links to "external resources"?
-
Perhaps this will help. On the other hand, in upload created by pcpilot , the cockpit call line in the aircraft ini file is written аs CockpitDataFile=DFCW5_cockpit.ini. Accordingly, the cockpit.ini file is called the DFCW5_cockpit.ini. It contains the call line 'Model Name = Fokker D7_cpit.LOD'. I do not think there is any mistake here. DFW C.V Screen and ini Pack

Oh, I'm sorry! I wrote "Aladar's" instead of " By pcpilot "... :(
-
You're a true artist, Geezer. [Aside] However, there is every reason to believe that the pilot, who sat in the fully open cockpit, would have protected his eyes with glasses. ;)

At your service!
