  1. I have written and re-written my Multiplayer Help Document. I hope it is helpful for anyone. (I included most of the info that I could). https://eaw.neocities.org/multiplayer.html If there's anything I should add to this doc, please feel free to post here to let me know if there's anything I missed or what not. Thanks! :)
  2. Sure, V1.0 (The CD) or 1.1 or 1.2 (official patches) or the EAWPRO or v1.28+ (preferably v1.60) will all run on Win10, 32 bit or 64 bit, 'natively' Read my 'First Use' and 'Install' Help Documents for details at my EAW Help Site: eaw.neocities.org
  3. EAW Logos

Heres a test to see the logo in full color.
  4. Help available as long as we're still flying

(Just for general information; if you go to my site to the main page, then all other pages can be found through that one) https://eaw.neocities.org/
  5. Help available as long as we're still flying

To help explain what the FXEXE is, VBH and I have come up with these detailed descriptions of it's features, found on the page below: https://eaw.neocities.org/fxexe-patches.html
  6. This Guide has been updated several times in the past months, including the DeadZone and Flight Sensitivity sections. I've rewritten a good portion and consolidated to help out more effectively.
  7. I'm in need of ANY EAW archives / files / zips that any old EAW pilots have sitting on there HD or backup CDs. Can you find it with in you to search for your old (and new) EAW files from back in the day (or today) so that I can archive them in my Shared Public Resource? I'm in need of even more files to fill the resource before the files or old EAW users are no longer available. To see the organization I did , please got o my EAW Help Site: https://eaw.neocities.org/ and find the download link there. Please contact me by PM here on CombatAce or I'm on SimHQ too. Let me know where to download your files from or send them to me. Thank You in advance.
  8. Need help with EAW archive!

A small group of people have helped me out since I posted requests on several forums. I have received a bit of help from some of the old timers that tucked files away for perhaps just this reason to preserve the information. So I'm hoping my site and the references to the files are helping others in return for their generosity. I recently added an 'addon and files' page on my site, The page that was present before use to be just information about some of the different popular files for v1.2 of EAW, now it's linking to the newly and painstakingly organized folders at my EAW Mediafire archive that contain the community made archives and more details about more files. Anyway, please check it out, you can get to the files page by going to the main page of my site. There are some of my own files there too. Main Page of EAWHS: https://eaw.neocities.org/
  9. lauvo, bump to my question.
  10. What exactly is this archive? Doesn't the file archive Jel releases have those updates/include the WWI Theater already, plus much more?
  11. Here's a document I wrote up detailing the video problems that have been plagueing EAW for a long time now. There mostly due to the old DX6 code is still used in EAW and its weird 8 bit driven frontend. However the changeing video Drivers have took there toll, ATI supports horizon fog again and Nvidia doesn't now, etc I tried to get all the details down with facts and correct information for future readers. Therse solutions to most of the problems listed, such as using wrappers and such.... I linked it instead of uploading it because the information is still being updated.
  12. Some Video Problems in EAW in detail

The Video Problems for EAW information has been now combined with the EAW Bug and Feature document/page: https://eaw.neocities.org/eaw-known-bugs-feature-ideas.html

  18. Installing EAW

Thanks for letting me know your results. I will be-able to help others out then and I can update my Installation document. Make sure you get the updated EAW v1.28e exe (Feb 2016) has it runs Glide API v3.0 rather than the old v2.43 and is faster in performance, plus it fixes some bugs. Contact MrJelly for a Download link.
  19. Installing EAW

ugh, It might just be the onboard Intel HD 530, the way it displays...(I see thats its a DirectX 12 chip, not much experience with that) Are you using the Beta Drivers for it or Standard release? https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/88345/Intel-HD-Graphics-530-for-6th-Generation-Intel-Core-Processors You should have 1.28e installed out of the \Program Files folder and placed someplace else. Without the compatibility mode nor the admin setting. Are you running in D3D or Glide(with nGlide)? MrJelly at the SimHQ recently updated the main exe of the EAw version your using with some fixes plus Glide 3 support. You might want to contact him here or over there.
  20. Is anyone here?

Just wondering if the same people that visit here are the same at SimHQ? I'm not recieving much help over at SimHQ as far as obtaining old EAW files for my archive, thought maybe a differant crowd is here...
  21. Is anyone here?

BTW I went through the files here on CombatACE in the EAW section. 96% of those files are junk, there just repacks of other older version files. You probably could free up space on CombACE by removing them, perhaps. User lauvo files are mostly the culprit. I'm not sure what he was doing with those files or why. Maybe he had good intentions, but the result was poor. Just my informative opinion.
  22. Installing EAW

I have since add much needed technical info to installing EAW help doc on my help web site. See my Troubleshoot Help Document if the game has any sorts of problems running. https://eaw.neocities.org/troubleshoot.html
  23. Installing EAW

I have updated this Install Guide for EAW If you have any problems following the directions or come across a problem I didn't cover feel free to contact me or post here, I'll help ya.
  24. If your having problems getting your flight controls whatever they might be to get recognized by EAW v1.2 try these programs. I only got one report that said these programs work well with combining controllers, throttles, pedals of different brands into one virtual joystick. EAW v1.28c and up supposedly support 3 devices and separate pedals and throttles natively, but people are still having problems. So these programs may help even with those versions of EAW, including 1.40. I haven't added this info to my EAW Joystick help guide yet as I haven't been able to test them out myself as I only have one controller. http://eaw.neocities.org/eaw-joystick-remappable.html Try these two programs that I'll link. They combine multiple controllers into 1 virtual joystick. http://evilc.com/joomla/articles/9-code/autohotkey/1-ujr-universal-joystick-remapper and you need this one too to go along with it: http://vjoystick.sourceforge.net/site/ There also is the other standalone program too you may want to try. http://headsoft.com.au/index.php?category=vjoy&page=home
  25. Here's an updated list, I clarified some findings specifically the wider view areas for some resolutions during flight. Plus other updates to the list. If you have anything to add please let me know. Thanks. https://eaw.neocities.org/eaw-known-bugs-feature-ideas.html
