Version 1
564 downloads
Each one of these files can be downloaded separately. You do not need to download the entire large archive. (These packs where originally uploaded and posted by Jel back in 2019 I think.) #1. EAW126.exe: Gives you a 1.26E folder with no addons. The 1.2-E exe is effectively a 1.2 exe with a no CD crack and some other modifications which I can no longer remember. #2. EAW12X-126E.exe: Gives you what is effectively a 1.26E folder with OAW. OAW only has the two "E-" folders available so the user can pick either the 1.26E exe or the 1.2X exe from the code group with the 7217 fix The default ETO theatre is used. #3. 128eFAW2016.exe: Gives you a stand-alone folder with the 2016 version of Finnish Air War. It includes the FAW manager. The EAW exe used is a 1.28e version, dated the 27th November 2016, which was compiled by the code group. #4. EAW129 July2016: Gives you a stand-alone UAW1.29 installation It has the old and new map versions of the 1.29 exe, and 9 different theatres. BoB, DAW, ETO with planesets, Malta, Ray's 2015 ETO, SWOTL, SPAW, SAW, ETO Trains and barges. The "DSP128-9.exe" is provided as the file-manager. There is a file in the LongDirSets folder named "Mediterranean Air War (Malta and North Africa)" which should have been removed as it causes a CTD when selected. DAW and Malta are there in any case. However,DAW has the original dodgy planeset with some aircraft having the wrong nationality. The Malta theatre is just about the same, but has a more realistic planeset. #5. 1.28c_JellyPack.exe: Installs 1.28c with the DirSetExeManagerV5. filemanager. This enables you to select one of three versions of the eaw.exe, and eight theatres in addition to the default 1.28C ETO theatre which had the Allied Carrier. The theatres are DAW, KAW, Malta, Russia-Germany (winter), SWOTL, SPAW, SPAW45 and SAW. #6. 129EAW640x480.exe: This installs the special version of the 1.29 old map exe which uses 640x480 screens. It has a filemanager and a number of experimental WIP theatres that Moggy was working on. These were added to test the exe, but some are of little use as they are incomplete There is also the 1.28c version of VBH's Pacific Tide III. This version of the 1.29 exe was made for modders who want to re-vamp old theatres and use the 640x480 screens, but allowing the additional features of UAW1.29 to be used if required. #7. AcesOverEurope129.exe: This is Emil's old add-on that Modred updated and Jel repacked it into this form. Possible issues: You may need the VB runtime files for the filemanagers and OAW. Let me know if there are any problems Jel- 12 comments

Aw, you where referring to another thread. I only double checked this thread for that reference, before i proceeded. Yeah SimHQ currently doesn't host EAW files other than links pointing to external files from the EAW Forum by Jel's posts. I would just ask VBH to clarify the post , if he can still edit it. He clearly indented to reference Jels previous posts from the past at SimHQ. VBH, isn't out to get or screw anyone over. He's just working on his hobby and time killers. Much like what I do with the EAWHS, kills time, sometimes too much. :) Alright well hopefully this thread is over, given that VBH has a chance to respond.

Naw, you haven't been following. Just read the comment section of the the files Jel posted here at CombatACE, and some place else in the forum that at the moment I can't find. EDIT: I looks like part of the discussions in my thread about what I should post. There's a brief mention of finding out what that file is. I didn't know what it was and its been sitting there since 2019. and then the comment section of the files Jel posted.

Regarding files from EAWHS: I have been adding a lot of file descriptions to my site and some files have been repacked and renamed. I did all this locally and find it much faster if I don't have to keep track of the downloads and changes I make. I'll try to upload some of them to mediafire but I can't be bothered with uploading all the skins ive added as the folder structure is slow to browse. I still not sure If I'll be able to find FTP space or what where it would make more sense to handle the files. Anyhow moving on.

Who are you, and why are you hiding your true screen name from the EAW community here, when you go and make statements like you have. The EAWPRO version file Jel rebranded is faulty, its not a virus or malware in that sense, its can crash the computer. VBH released a patch soon after that fixed the issue, which Jel file does not contain. VBH, just wants his stuff left alone and doesn't want more than one location for the download currently. I see no problem with that.

What is the purpose of the control indicator thats on the screen when moving things around? I know it knows which mouse button im pushing as it lights up a indicator. I was wondering if you had anymore plans for it, or if its completed? What do you call it?
-
I tired again, and nothing, it was present on the screen, but the screenshot shows no sight. Maybe its a debug thing you stumbled upon.?? When i use the keyboard arrow keys, the sight jumps in the direction i push the arrow key. Its defiantly tied to the camera mouse view, and the input gets a visual representation of what's being used. EDIT: I'm dumb. I think it might be part of the wrapper, hooking the dinput and using a virtual joystick. So I'll have to recheck that stuff, and see whats going on there. EDIT 2: Yup, it was the virtual joystick setting from the wrapper. For some reason I needed the vstick to load the game, but its running fine without it now and that mysterious crosshair is gone too. ;) lol
-
Hmmm. I could not get a capture of it. It flashes fast when its displayed. Disappears just before i take a screenshot. Anyhow. Its a crosshair sight looking thing and it lights up a square on the left side and right side when i push the mouse buttons. The center sight part animates when I press the middle mouse button.
-
Do you need a screen shot or two to see the indicator light up?
-
In win10 I have left mouse, middle and right indicators light up within the front_director "sight" thing. I believe it also lit up when i used the arrow keys to fly the plane. The mouse moves it around. I know you can't do this, but a sight/cursor like that is used in other games to click on targets and objects out the flight windows to lock on. Some sims use it to click cockpit buttons and levers and switches. Not really needed in EAW though. Just mentioning it. :) Alright thanks for filling me in.

Regarding the notorious JelFixV2 file Wow, it is unfortunate that he released your stuff yet again. Sad sorta :\ Over the years I was around, he released several FXEXE inclusions and what not. He even sent me two large files of your work along time ago before I knew you or the situation regarding the split in efforts. I still have them, but I have not use them in a very long time. Regarding files I post. I've been updating files and organizing, locally, but mediafire interface slows me down. It seems like more work than using a FTP program. So I haven't updated the EAWHS Mediafire File Account completely. I make too many changes to the files locally too fast, that its hard to keep track of them all, so I doubt I ever will finish mediafire. There are a few updates I have time to do though.

What the? nothing to see but cockpit dials. lol

Well I got it to run. It uses your Mainscreen that I posted for you before here on CombatACE and the version number in the lower left is "JelFixv2". This is actually an old version of EAWPRO with perhaps some modifications done by Jel. What they are beyound the mainscreen, I don't know. If I where you VBH, I would ask CombatACE to pull that so called "JelFixV2" from the 4 gig download....its clearly EAWPRO without the name. :(

Alright, Thanks. I'm just handling all the files I been taking in and I'm still unclear what too post in the CombatACE DL section. If any body has a clue, clue me in , thanks.......

Bazillius, Do you know what the JelFixV2.exe is for? There was no description for it in the downloads.
-
I searched, all I see is the orginal OAW installer (or extracted) files. I might have over looked the newer OAW, but Jel did update the OAW files more recently than I'm finding on my backups.
-
I think some of those exe 7z installers for the standalone games are already in a large download put together , here on CombatACE, I think Jel uploaded them, or Erik did. eh, I see no EAWPRO in your list,....that blows :) You need to read and see about all the changes in it. Its fun to compare from 1.2 to the FXEXE when playing. I jump sometimes from game to game just to see the comparison. Its worth adding to your collection. Well about the OAW package, I think FsFOOT had posted a revised package perhaps?? not too sure. I'll have to check my backups, still :)..............
-
So you want a modder to have packaged the right files together for you already...... Hmmm, that could be OAW, I "Think" Jel may have released a new OAW package for stock EAWv1.2 in the past 2 years. (In comparison to the old OAW from 2005) But I don't know if I have it, or where to get it. Then there's little packages like flight model modifications in a single pack. Skys clouds terrain, etc.
