  1. I actually like the B. It's no Tomcat but rather a poor replacement for the Missileer that eventually someone would figure to be a good supersonic bombtruck.

  10. When I move the modded .ini files into Terrains\Desert that yields a ctd on startup.

  12. Yeah, those are where they should be. Still starts off with me exploding down in the southeast corner. Like it doesn't actually read the data files or something. Where did you put your extracted terrain inis? Do they go into the \terrain\ folder or into \terrain\desert\? Confused here because I added Stary's desert environment mod, which goes into the former.

  15. I've tried to add the carriers as per C5's article, WITH the correct #'s, yet the carrier refuses to show up and my base is somewhere out in infinity beyond the southeast corner of the map. Any ideas?
  16. I've been trying out the F-101A in the SF2 Merc campaign and it really kicks ass against the opposition. Using energy management and high-speed slashing tactics I've been able to get real good kill ratios against the MiGs and Hunters. The F-101's ability to keep up it's high speed combined with the tactic of highspeed passes IMO negates whatever maneuverability advantage the slower MiG's have. It also gives those pesky IL-28 gunners less time to shoot you up. Out of curiosity, Lexx, how would AAM's be carried on the F-101A/C in the event these get used for the fighter role in a conventional war?
  17. I'm sure we could maintain suspension of disbelief with a less complicated pit that retains the essential instruments? Unless tape gauges are a bitch as I've never attempted those.
