  1. Yeah, the Kestral is what the Tripartite squadron flew. It was later slightly enlarged into the Harrier. The Kestral is a member of the falcon family, a small fast one.
  2. A lot use gas turbines these days, like the Burkes. If I remember correctly, diesel fuels doesn't ignite like that as easily as regular gas, thus the Army changeover on the M-113s and such.
  3. I've used Orbiter for years, had to relocated the texture folders to my desktop (wireless) for storage to clear more room out for WOE. :D

  8. Good idea, Fates, I've done just that, uploaded my drawings and some SF stuff I'm working on.
  9. F-34A side 1.jpg

    From the album My Stuff

This is my idea for the XF-34 DreamStar from the book "Day of the Cheetah." It's a heavily upgraded F-16 basis, with thrust vectoring and forward-swept wings that still need to be added, as well as a lot more detail.
  10. F-27AC roles 2.jpg

    From the album My Stuff

This is a drawing I did based on the idea of a completely rebuilt F-15 incorporating a new forward fuselage, wing, and the addition of thrust vectoring and canards. The F-27C is further upgraded with F-22-style tails. That is the only structural difference between the two. The C is equipped with a pair of FAST packs with weapons bays and no pylons for enhanced low-observability. It also mounts EOTG on the nose.
  11. EF-14G Top.jpg

    From the album My Stuff

Unfinished EF-14G top view, still has single seat cockpit that needs to be corrected.
  12. F-14 Tomcat II family side.jpg

    From the album My Stuff

This is the side views of the F-14 second generation I drew, based on a combination of the Tomcat and the VF-0 from Macross. This was intended to be a tribute to their retiring from USN service.
  13. I don't know why, but that just popped into my head when I saw it. Guess my gut is right.
  14. Thanks Fastcargo. That's unfortunate, but oh well. Is there any gameplay difference between LGB and EOGB in the game? That's strange the EOGBs can't be hung from TERs and MERs. I've still been working on the JCM, well, at least the INI editing for it, as well as several of the mounting possiblities, such as the quad helicopter rack and dual aircraft one. I'll do a test flight later today and see how it looks in game. They are still using the Hellfire model. Hmm, newer model Hellfires....
  15. It's a pity the 192nd went straight from the F-84F to the F-105, would have been sweet markins on an F-100.
  16. That rack is looking very nice indeed. Any idea who did the original SDB? I'd like to see if I could get a hold of the original file to redo it from it.
  17. Awesome work, I love the JASDF, always great to see incredible skins for it.
  18. You can add the following from me as well: AGM-169 Joint Common Missile- LGB, F/I I wonder who did the old SDB in the weapons pack, I'd love to see if I could get the original files, since the shape is fairly nice and could be nicely upgraded.
  19. Oh definately. I know a guy at my church, retired Major General, who flew these back in the day. He was there when they stood up the 353th TFS. He told me a story about how they used to have to fly down from their base in Myrtle Beach to one in Georgia for any maintenance since they had zero facilities at the time. He started on F-84Fs and ended up in the 192 FW flying F-105s over Vietnam. Flew other planes like the F3D, F8U, and F-86s as well. By the way, Bunyap, if you're reading this, he loved the skin of it you did, said it brought back a lot of memories.
  20. Thanks FastCargo. I'm just a beginner modeller so don't expect much in the near future, especially since I don't know how to animate yet. I'm working in Gmax, by the way. I did have an idea about the flipping, perhaps if the entire model was flipped in the animation. For example, if the SDB has 10 frame for the animation, 1-5 would be the bomb turning over, and 6-10, the wings extending. One thing I will be doing is some INI tweaking. I'm working on an RF-111G Vampire bomber from the book Chain of Command (mostly for my use, but after I finish, I'll get in touch with the people who did it to see if I can release it here), as well as modding the Hellfire into the JCM. We need an EB-52. Oh, and I've been working with Foxmonter, doing these for him. I did them as nations, available on any plane. The UN Spacy, Navy, Marines, and Air Force are all done, as well as the kite (all hand-drawn in MS Pub). Here's an example:
  21. I guess I don't have to continue working on the SDB now. (I had just started modelling, was mostly still planning.) Don't forget, it does flip over after it drops, it's carried with the wings down and flies with them up. I did get a few orthographic pictures and such of it, I can send them to you if you need them.
  22. No, I think that was the F-84H Thunderscreech.
