View File [Fictional] Lockheed F-19A 'Sniper' for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 Lockheed F-19A 'Sniper' for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a simple mod of the stock MiG-19S to create a fictional Lockheed F-19A 'Sniper' in service with USN & USMC Aggressor Squadrons in the 1974 to 2003 timeline. BACKSTORY Only during the mid-1980's was it revealed that an unexpected outcome of President Nixon's historic visit to China in 1972 was the purchase of 30 Shenyang J-6 fighters for use as Aggressor aircraft. The aircraft were clandestinely delivered early in 1974 with the US Navy taking 22 aircraft and the US Marine Corps taking the balance of 8 which entered service with VMFT-401 in April 1976. In service, the aircraft were supported by specialist teams from Lockheed and were eventually designated F-19A with the unofficial name of 'Sniper'. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the F-19A folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the F-19A folder into your Decals folder. That's it! View File [Fictional] Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-19S 'Ilmavoimat' Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-19S for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a very simple mod of the stock Third Wire MiG-19S to give a fictional MiG-19S as it might have appeared in service with the Finnish Air Force at various stages in it's career between 1961 and 1981. Fictional markings are included for; HävLLv 11 (Fighter Squadron 11) in the 'as delivered' natural metal finish. HävLLv 21 (Fighter Squadron 21) in the later medium sea grey scheme. HävLLv 31 (Fighter Squadron 31) in an experimental two-tone 'aggressor' scheme. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the MiG-19S_Ilm folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. View File [Fictional] Canadair CF-103 Callisto Canadair CF-103 Callisto for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a simple mod of the stock MiG-19S to give a very fictional 'what if' Canadair CF-103 Callisto with markings for No.423 Squadron and No.433 Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force. I did this as a request back in 2009 and this update is just to add a screenshot to the listing but I've changed the name to fit in with the Canadian system of aircraft designation (the real CF-103 never left the drawing board) and I've also tweaked a few things including the Third Wire MiG-19's ferocious rate of roll at low-level. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the CF-103 folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the CF-103 folder into your Decals folder. That's it!
